941 electronic filing

How do we go about signing up to file 941, 940 and W-2s electronically with the IRS (and Social Security Administration)? Is there an IRS application process separate from the Income tax electronic filing (1040 etc) registration? Can it be done through the EasyAcct software?

Thanks

I set it up when I applied for my EFIN through e-services. One of the Provider Options on the application is "Reporting Agent" which allows you to e-file 94x annual reports and 94x quarterly reports.

You will receive an RA PIN once the process is complete which you need for the EasyACCT system.

At that point, you will need your clients to sign Form 8655 Reporting Agent Authorization. Those need to be submitted IRS along with a Reporting Agent's List.

For W2, you need to setup a SSA BSO (Business Services Online) account. EasyACCT/ Info Return will created the electronic file, but you have to upload it yourself.
