best app ever for beginners

This is an application that provides a comprehensive and streamlined approach to learning, saving time for users. It guides learners directly to the core of the subject without including excessive, irrelevant information. While supplementary knowledge is essential, many other coding apps overload lessons with too much information, causing beginners to feel overwhelmed, discouraged, and more likely to give up. For those who are not learning through formal education, Mimo is an app that brings you closer to the field of information technology.

Free version is okay, but needs some adjustments

I do not use the paid version, as I think free version is quite good. But there are two things that are bugging me. One can be left alone but the other... it annoys me TOO MUCH. Let’s get into that one first. When I try to go back into my lessons (that I’ve already done) the app assumes that I want to go into a further lesson of that. The paid version. I just want to redo the lesson because I haven’t been on the app for a week or two and it doesn’t let me! Please add something asking you if you want to buy the paid version OR start over the lesson! If you add this in a future update I’ll be sure to change it to five stars!

Okay, into another one! I don’t believe people should pay to make a project.I cannot do the lessons and it’s really bugging me! I can find other apps who let you do all the lessons without paying for them! The only reason I still use this app is because it is more understandable than any other app. You can keep the different parts of the lessons that you have to buy with Premium but don’t limit whole lessons if you know what I mean. This worked only with my first project, all other projects got limited to me. At least put some more projects that people who don’t pay use! Also add an option to edit your projects. They are useless otherwise.

Thank you for taking your time and reading.

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much for your feedback! We've got good news for you: as a free user you can also repeat lessons and do projects from now on. Happy coding!

Deceptive pricing

I signed up for the annual subscription of Mimo Pro for $99AUD, and was intrigued by the desktop projects in “Mimo Max” - the $399 AUD annual subscription. I signed up to the two-week free trial for Mimo Max. After just under two weeks, I decided I hadn’t used the desktop projects enough to justify the cost, so I went to cancel it in Apple Subscriptions. Apple Subscriptions said my next renewal was November next year even with Mimo Max selected under subscriptions - as I initially thought this given date was the Mimo Pro subscription I’d willing paid for. Turns out I was right, and the next day I was charged $399 for Mimo Max. Having this pricing structure is clearly taking advantage of Apple’s subscription system to con users out of more money. I reached out to Apple for a refund and they’ve denied it without reason. If Mimo reads this and wants to personally reach out to refund the Mimo Max subscription, then I will delete this review as I take that as a mark of valuing customer service.
