Ratings and Reviews
One feature I would love
This app is excellent, however I feel like the sampler is a bit limited. I would love the ability to either play a sample like a keyboard or as a drum kit where it chops up the sample at the transients. This would make this app five stars easily I get so much use out of it
So…
First of thank you ! Been waiting for an official app from Ableton. It’s definitely a great app for what it offers BUT…it can be a lot better I feel like for the almost 10$ that it cost it is definitely lacking in features. I feel like adding support for AU3 on the app will open up a lot more doors I enjoy stock sounds but I’d love to be able to integrate my other apps for sounds, Second maybe a bit more midi control ?
Developer Response ,
Hi, thanks for the feedback. We shared this with our team. You can always submit a new feature request by opening the Help menu in Note's Setting Page and tapping the "Feedback" button. Thanks again, Ableton.
This is a lot less seamless than I was expecting it to be
Promoters all over the Internet are going on and on about how seamless this works with note. I’ve even heard the move referred to as the push to Ableton, as the move is to note.
That Hass to be the over exaggeration of the century these two platforms indeed have their strong points but they do not work in conjunction with one another you literally have to do you work upload it download it do you work on a different platform of low to download it and then do you work on your original platform. Talk about interrupting the creative flow like what is this? Honestly why cant the Move act as the push does to live with note? In real time and acting as a pad stores, and allowing you to change settings of note on your move?
I feel ripped off. I’ve had this thing for over three months. I was thinking I’m gonna learn this. It’s gonna get good it’s gonna get good. It’s so simple. There is nothingThat anyone needs from the move if you have Ableton Note. When I go to Ableton Note and I go to Mary settings on my Arturia Midi gear shows up in the list.Having a push like version for cheaper for the note dj W is a great idea and you guys try to make it sound like that’s what the move is but the movies not that so I don’t know. As I read this I keep removing stars from my review I’m just like baffled. Can somebody from Ableton send me an email and show me how to make the move into notes, sidecar basically? And allow real time changes just as a midi controller word.Because after hearing all this hype, and how satisfied everybody is that there’s a little tiny pad box that does literally lets you do nothing but let you manipulate a few presets… that’s why I was saying, a much cheaper and a real time, solutionIs to go out and buy the Arturia mini lab three,Use it as your midi controller, and program the cc of your knobs & faders & pads on minilab,That way you have a real time midi controller that can actually control ableton note which I have to admit is getting much better than when I first downloaded it like four years ago or whatever it was.
Can someone tell me what I’m missing? Why is move good? What does it do that my mini lab three can’t? (I also have a move but it is far from seemless…)
