Description

The Recents view displays the files you’ve been working on lately in high-resolution thumbnails. Use the powerful Browse view to navigate folders, organize your files with tags, move files between folders, and search. Files also makes it easy to access iCloud Drive and third-party cloud storage services such as Dropbox, Box, and OneDrive.

A VERY basic file manager.

Very basic.
However, there's no options for:

Hiding Files/Folders
Viewing hidden files/folders
Changing File extensions
Viewing folder size
And probably more...

Apple Pencil writing gone! Awesome!

An entire lectures worth of writing, disappeared on one file. Just gone. What a functional app.

No files to preview

I contacted the Apple support about this and got to talk to a few staff. They couldn’t figure out why it’s happening but they gave me an option to uninstall and reinstall the Files app. I did uninstall and reinstall the app. It worked for like a couple of hours, and now it’s happening again. I’m here again to uninstall and reinstall the app. This started happening after I updated my os to the latest one, iOS 15. 🥲

After writing a review here this afternoon, here I am again, 5 hours after, uninstalling and reinstalling this app AGAIN. Every time I open the shortcuts I made for my proof of vaccines and government ID that are saved on my Files app, the issue occurs.

Please fix this, I can’t be uninstalling and reinstalling this app all the time. 🥲
