Mail 4+

There seems to be much confusion about the criteria necessary for automatic fetch to operate. On the setup screen it indicates that your device must be connected to wi-fi and be on power.
Does “on power” mean connected to a power supply (and be charging) or does in mean powered on (and not sleeping)?

Apple’s Mail app is clearly an important app, existing in some form since the first iPhone. What is amazing about this app is how it is a “dumb” app, where it doesn’t attempt to read your emails and then target you with ads based on your content. Gmail, Outlook, Spark, Newton Mail, etc. all have horrendous privacy policies. That is unacceptable, and keeps me using this app.
However Apple, you’re falling far behind. We desperately need the ability to snooze emails for a later time. Imagine the Mail app linking with the Reminders app to give you a reminder after the snooze was over!
We also need you to finally work with Gmail and get push email set up.
Finally, we desperately need better signature support. For work I need full rich text as my signature, with a photo. I can do it in outlook and other services, but no on my iOS device. It is disappointing and loses the continuity I am hoping for.
So you get three stars for being privacy focused, but no more until we begin to have feature parity.

I have a very hard time believing anyone at Apple uses their own mail app. These are just a few gripes that most other apps have figured out:
-No schedule send
-VERY poor attachment management (always defaults to a photo or visible PDF)
-No attachment results in search
-Poor hiding of past quoted emails
-Poor dark mode rendering, especially from Google
-No default font management, frequently adopts the Times New Roman from a sender
-Poor text wrapping in certain emails, displaying super zoomed out message
-No avatars or contact photos on mobile
