The AR WiFi Map Scanner allows you to analyze the quality of your WiFi connection at your place by using augmented reality technology.

The application divides the space into points and measures the quality of the connection at these points. This technology shows you where your signal coverage is weak*. The application is designed to be easy to use by everyone. Your feedback is essential to us, so don't hesitate to contact us.

The app functionality is only available with a subscription.

*The signal quality may change over time.

Wifi Connection mit visible in App

Overall nice setup, I struggled quite a bit with weaker signals and App did not recover from such a signal loss. Shall this be mit the feature we want, to discover Wi-Fi holes?

Needs some improvements

The measurement can be stored for later review, but it is difficult to correctly identify the measurement for later analysis. I made several measurements with different positions of the WiFi AP (horizontal, vertical) and with different frequencies. It is not possible to name the measurements, export them or at least add some notes.
Support only in Facebook! If you do not have a Facebook account like me, you will get no support.

The AR part works surprisingly well and I think this has a lot of promise but I’m not sure latency is the best measure for network quality.
