Easily track books you’ve read, books you’re reading, and books you want to read. Record your progress by adding the start and finish date of your books.

ADD NEW BOOKS
• Scan the barcode of a book to quickly add it to your list
• Search online to find and add books
• Alternatively, add a book manually by typing in its details
• Sync your data between all devices via iCloud

TRACK YOUR READING
• Quickly log the dates you start and finish each book with a tap or swipe
• Order the books, to help plan what to read next
• Create your own custom lists, like "Wishlist", "Favourites", etc
• Record the current page of books you're reading
• Add your own rating and notes to each book
• View your reading statistics

PRIVATE & PERSONAL
• No online account or signup needed
• All data is private, stored on-device or in your iCloud account
• Export and import all your data

Some premium features require Reading List Pro, which can be purchased in the app. The app remains fully-featured when used without Reading List Pro.

Happy New Year to all bookworms out there! Thanks for continuing to support Reading List, and I hope you read some great books in 2025! This update includes the following new features:

FILTERS
Add book filters to your finished list. You can now restrict your finished list to show just books finished in a given timeframe, such as "During 2025". Tap Edit then Add Filter to set it up. More filters coming in future updates!

QUICK VIEW RATINGS
See your book ratings directly on the book list screen. This one has been requested by many users, and it's here at last! Tap the Sort button, then toggle Show Ratings to adjust the behaviour.

BUG FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
- New option to prevent the app from presenting the edit read state screen when opening a book from a widget.
- The lock screen widget shows the current page even when the book doesn't have a page count.
- Glitchy autocomplete on certain text fields on macOS has been prevented.
- And this update includes many behind-the-scenes technical improvements to help keep Reading List performant and up-to-date.

Note: this update drops support for iOS 15, the app now requires iOS 16. This is to allow me to modernise the app's codebase and make it easier to develop.

Unfortunately, there are no statistics on which genres you read the most. Otherwise a very good app
