AUTOSQUARE 3.0

We're back. Completely renewed.

So you're a little more sluggish than others and you're too lazy to get the phone to check in every morning in the subway station. Or you're too busy to have to do check-in wherever you go. Well, AutoSquare is your solution.

AutoSquare is an iPhone application that will allow you to check-in in all those places you've visited at least once, and you did check-in at least once.

Magic? No, AutoSquare.

If you liked AutoSquare leave us a review!. On the other hand if you think you have things to improve or have a suggestion, feel free to contact: we are open to suggestions from users.

Important Note: AutoSquare doesn't handle your personal data locally, or store, or send data to third parties. All data remains at Foursquare servers. AutoSquare doesn't like to play with what doesn't belong to it :)

How to use this app:
1. Tap on icon and launch the Autosquare App.
2. Connect to Foursquare and set your options.
3. Put it in background mode.
4. Enjoy auto check-ins! You can see them on your Foursquare Account.

*** Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

*** NOTICE: iPhone localization in background mode could be not accurate as we want for AutoSquare. Specially inside buildings or in low coverage areas. So some check-ins will not occur. We’re working hard to bridge this gap.

Great idea, should get better with a few tweaks

Really like this idea, it's not that you are always too lazy to get the phone out of your pocket, it's just that more often than not events take over and you've totally forgotten to check in or are with friends and family and it can get a little rude to keep "checking in" mid conversation. The always on GPS thing is a nuisance though... could you not script for it to kick in every 10mins / 20mins or whatever, perhaps have the user set the interval depending on the frequency of their relocations? Guess there may be subsequent problems where you end up accidentally checking in to a large number of nearby locations due to varying accuracy of GPS and locality of visited places etc? I'll definitely be giving it a try over the next few days and see how it works out. 4 stars for effort - I'll update depending on how it stacks up after testing.
UPDATE: Had to delete it from my phone as it kept location service turned on and running all the time so battery life was severely depleted. Will try again with this new update.
