I rarely leave feedbacks for Apps, idk why but that's besides the point. After facing a lull in productivity and motivation with the lockdown and being back at home I decided to check this app out and silently wished for it to be worth it since I was paying to try it out but im very pleased to share with you all that it has indeed been worth it. It's great to use when tracking your production levels, and comparing it against previous moments really serves as a motivation and encouragement booster. I love the new stopwatch feature which actually suits me when I feel motivated to work but don’t want to risk a withered tree should I lose concentration but also the countdown feature is perfect for when I need a little push and tell myself “just do an hour” I kinda wish organisations like schools can purchase this and use it to facilitate motivation in times like this. Also it would great if there was a section where you could input a target for example if your target was to study for 5 hours on that day. But there app is constantly updating and improving and I can't wait to see what they come up with next, I only wish that I found this app earlier!! Would have planted so many real life trees!! ( yes you can do that!!)

wouldn’t be where i am now without this app

i LOVE this app. something about it actually makes me study, unlike other study tracking apps. the fact I had to pay for it really motivated me to use it at first but now, all i can think of when i’m studying is “i need to put a forest on”. the trees you buy with the coins you earn from focus time are BEAUTIFUL. i’ve had this app for quite a while now (3years) so i’ve purchased pretty much all the trees so I get super excited when a new one is released. i can’t stop raving about this app to all my friends, which inevitably makes them buy it aswell. i love the “plant with friends” option as it allows you to plant a tree you have not purchased yourself. i regularly check my statistics to try and beat my focus time from the previous week, month, year etc. this app keeps me so motivated and on track. seeing the actual values of how long i’ve been studying really helps me put my efforts into perspective. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP ENOUGH!!!

Amazing except for 2 things

This is a really good app for those of us with bad habits of picking up our phones and mindlessly and needlessly distracting ourselves. It feels great to see all the trees you've planted through your focused time.

Two things that would really make the app even better:
1) it's too difficult to get coins. When new plants/trees can cost over 1000 coins (even 2000 coons) and you get less than half a coin per minute of focus time, it can feel way too difficult to unlock new plants for your forest.
1) emergency button of some sort - it would be great to have an option to have some kind of emergency "need to exit the app for this one tiny thing without killing my trees" button, even better if it's a kind of timed feature, like you have 1 minute to do whatever you need to do before your plant dies. I started planting some trees for a 2 hour session before realising that I needed to look at my notes app because I couldn't remember a password. I had no choice but to leave the app because I needed the password otherwise I couldn't connect to wifi and get on with my work. Unfortunately it cost me 4 dead trees. It was disappointing because I did actually focus for the time period, but just needed to pop out of the app quickly to get this password.
