MCB Juice 4+

Juice has greatly improved over the years. It is still far from the other bank mobile apps found in some countries but for our little island market it is decent.

It would be great to introduce some analytics and breakdown of spending, by category for example. That way users can better keep track of where we money is being spent.

Also sending money should be a little more fun, mostly when it is sending within MCB, with other Juice users. Sending money to another user should be more user friendly than just typing the phone number and the amount, take Venmo by PayPal for example. Sending money should be like sending a message, financial transactions are becoming such an integral part of our day-to-day. It should also be easier to see recent transactions and recent contacts for reuse.

Regression detected: Initially when OTP was prompted throughout the application an SMS is sent to the user and in parallel Juice detects the OTP in-app. This is no longer the case and if removed, please add an option in setting parameters to turn feature on/off based on preference. It is unlikely when you have daily multiple transactions. Thank you for your consideration.

It’s 2022 and still no dark mode, the app is horrendously slow; takes an eternity to load which is a good thing because servers are nearly always down and then the app refuses to load at all. The user experience is a mess and so is the user interface - nav bar too small, overall navigation is not smooth, the icons literally look like they were inspired from a toddler’s scribbles and what are those doodles/funny looking illustrations, did the design team really think they would fit within a banking app? But seriously fix the app, I wonder how the so claimed “best bank” on the island could neglect such an important tool. Been using Juice since launch, and this has been a real pain. Apart from the design overhaul there hasn’t been any significant improvement from a user experience perspective. Deceiving.
