Suggestion app

Hi, I find the app to be quite useful. I use the app for the B&W PI8. However, the app experience is not perfect (a) and I have suggestion (b) to optimise these experiences.

1a. When I open the app, it has to search for the earphones. This makes changing the ANC settings cumbersome.

1b. Create a widget to for the iPhone home screen to toggle between ANC modes (and off), or at least a longpress app-icon toggle/ui that enables you to toggle modes without opening the app.

2a. It takes to many “clicks” to know how much charge is left in the headphone case. When I open the app (i) I have to navigate to settings (ii) wait for the app to find the headphones and press pi8 (iii).

2b. Also show the battery level of the charging case in the widget (1b.) or at least show the battery level of the charging case on the home screen within the app itself (next to the charge level of the earphones). Another option is to enable a long press on the (L/R) headphone or something to give you an audible update on the charge levels of the case or headphone. Or allow for users to turn this audible/voice update on via the app to be automatically given when connecting with a Bluetooth device (ensuring that you get it when starting to use the headphones).

3a. When I try to use the audio transmission feature of the charging case with a device (iPad) that is also paired with each other via Bluetooth, I run in various problems. Therefore, I first need to unpair/forget the headphones before I can switch over to the transmission via usbc - charging case - headphones.

3b. I am uncertain whether this bug is linked to iPadOS or the headphones. You might be able to allow users to give the audio transmission president over Bluetooth connections via the app. I am not certain whether this is already the case.

The other one was better

You just gave the app a fancy new look, removed a few options, and added a bunch of features nobody asked for.
The other app allowed me to change the standby time of my px7 to 5, 10, and 15 minutes. This one only lets me set it to 15 minutes or none.
The other app let me change the ear detection sensitivity. This one only lets me turn it off or on. I'm less annoyed at this one however, because the ear detection doesn't work either way, regardless of sensitivity.

Geen firmware updates

Heb de oortjes nu twee jaar en bevallen op zich goed. Echter, nog een update gehad van de oortjes, geen enkele firmware update. Blijkbaar kunnen de oortjes niet worden geüpdatet. En dat terwijl volgend nummer kiezen dmv oortjes vaak niet lukt. Wel een erg goede geluidskwaliteit. Overigens krijg ik bij mijn oortjes van Jabra en Sony wel regelmatig updates.
