Description
The original Lifeline took the App Store by storm, reaching #1 Top Paid Game on iPhone and Apple Watch in 29 countries. Its compelling mix of real-time storytelling and Dave Justus’s suspenseful writing continues to capture the imaginations of countless players worldwide.
Lifeline 2 raises the bar with a new story almost twice as long as the original, with many more choices and paths to explore. Lifeline 2 features a 28-minute original soundtrack and is fully optimized for watchOS 2, delivering the best Lifeline experience on Apple Watch yet.
The second story in the Lifeline series connects you with Arika, a young woman on a deadly quest to avenge her parents and rescue her long-lost brother. Your choices will keep her alive and help her succeed as she faces mortal danger on her way to a final, fateful showdown against the forces that threaten all of humanity.
Lifeline stories play out in real time. As Arika travels to complete her quest, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. You can even respond to Arika directly from your Apple Watch or your iPhone lock screen, without launching into the app on your phone.
After completing any story branch, you can rewind to earlier parts of the story, or speed through parts you’ve already read. See what happens when you make a different choice: will you guide Arika virtuously, or cut corners to gain an edge? Seemingly simple actions can deeply affect the outcome.
Arika’s story, and the fate of the world, depend on your judgment. You will face the consequences together, because Arika is relying on YOU.
Lifeline 2 features no in-app purchases and no ads. An Internet connection is not required.

“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” - Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Editors’ Notes
Once you start playing Lifeline 2, it’s almost impossible to stop thinking about what its main character, Arika, is up to. That’s because this riveting text adventure consists of one long back-and-forth conversation between the two of you, with the game’s events occurring in real time. Arika’s messages come to you through notifications on your device, and you pick one of two responses; each of your choices affects how the fantasy-based story pans out. Helping her on her mission to save her brother and avenge her parents kept us spellbound the whole way through.
Great game, but it takes awhile before it gets good
In the beginning the main character Arika comes of as snarly, rude, arrogant and not funny at all compared to "Taylor ", the main character in the other lifeline, when she is not guilt tripping you. She is like this for the a bit too long, which will make it easy for some players to just throw the game away because you expect her to be a like this all the time, but this is not the case. I beg everyone who bought this game to try to ignore her behavior in the beginning, because she gets A LOT better later in the game and the story is very exciting. There's a lot of creepy and thrilling parts (just count out the monk part) after a while.
After a bad start this game just got REALLY GOOD. And I really started to like Arika.
I just love these game developers and I can't wait for new games with Arika and Taylor!
Their games are just fantastic and immersive, I've felt real frustration, happiness, nervousness, anger and excitement with both Arika and Taylor.
And I've laughed at their bad geek jokes a lot, although sometimes it's a bit too much when they reference movies, tv shows and games that are way out of date, like some obscure 1980's sci-fi movie. I don't think most of the players get these kind jokes and I wish they would stick to referencing very popular pop culture instead. I'm completely sure that would be a good idea. Doctor who (new one), Star Wars, Harry Potter, GoT and games like the elder scrolls and GTA are some of the games I advise them to use in the script instead. It's no fun just sitting there dumbstruck after an obscure 1980's joke. I understand maybe the developers grew up with this popculture, but I can assure you 95% of your players didn't. So please make some more futurama, star wars and Harry Potter jokes etc.
Okay, I think I've said what there is to say without spoiling anything. I recommend the lifeline series to everyone and wish you a fun gaming experience!
I'm really rooting for this game company and it's writers and look forward to the sequels with all my heart!
På langt nær så bra som originalen
Ble ikke så jeg spilte ferdig dette. Historien var ikke fengende nok, og det var altfor mange småpauser i spillet. Likte originalen og oppfølgerne veldig godt, så jeg ble litt skuffet over dette.
