Updating my Review

Update: As of approximately one week ago, this app restored the English translation of verses (which was previously removed for a few weeks), as well as restoring/adding many important Tafsir books and restoring the user interface to how it previously was which was better. Thank you so much for listening to everyone’s comments and adding them back! It is highly appreciated!

This is honestly the only app that I would recommend for anyone looking for a Quran app. I tried downloading other Quran apps when Ayah removed the English translation and various Tafsir books for some time, but none of the other apps were even close to Ayah. It is truly leagues above any other apps, which is why I’m so happy that they restored the translations and Tafsir books that suddenly got removed. The user interface, the elegance, the user-friendliness, the various useful features, the flow and logic… simply everything makes this app the ideal Quran app for everyone to use.

Request: If I could make a small request to kindly add Abdulrahman Al-Ossi’s voice, I would kindly appreciate it as he’s the only Sheikh’s recitation that I see missing from the many that I listen to. Thanks in advance!

Best app for searching ayahs

This app is without question the best Qur’an app in the store. The main thing I like about the app is how lightweight it is. Whenever there is an ayah I want to search for I always open this app — and it opens up fast. The search is very quick and accurate. One very useful feature is that it supports searching any ayah in the surah:ayah format, so entering 35:27 returns ayah 27 of surah Al-Fatir. Nice!

I also read the easy-to-read tafsirs that come with this app, especially Tafsir al-Sa’di. I wish they would add classic tafsirs like al-Tabari and al-Qurtubi in the app.

My opinion

I think this app is wonderful🌟 but the old version was better than the new version
At beginning when I clicked "update" And saw the new shape of ayah I thought it is wonderful but after I opened it recognized that it doesn’t read for you Quran and it closes if I leave it
I still think it’s a fantastic app but the old version was better

To listen to the audio, long press anywhere on the verse you’d like to play, then choose play from the popup menu.
To disable the display’s auto-lock, open the app’s settings, choose General, then switch on Disable Auto-Lock.
