Keeping the original’s streamlined interface, this version adds a wealth of new features. Enrich your journal entries with photos, location info, even fitness activity. And see your world at a glance with the beautiful photo view.

Just incredible.

I have been searching for years for an app like this. It’s everything I want in a journal and more. The functions are on point, and the app itself is beautiful and refined. I love it so much. It makes me look forward to journaling even more!

One issue I have found so far with the app is that the app crashes when I try to drag a photo around in the app on my iPhone. I would also like to suggest the ability to clear local cache for other components besides photos, such as videos, audio, and text, as these things do take up a lot of the app’s storage on my phone.

A great app to journal

I tried several apps before choosing DayOne as my daily digital journal. What I like is that the app has a strong track record across many years, including a focus on stability and privacy. It also works across multiple devices including my iPad and iMac and synchronised content seamlessly. I also enjoy the in-built templates and the possibility to have daily reminders. It’s a flexible journal but also provides tips to help you along your journey.
