This update updates the widgets and app icons to support dark icons and tinting for the iOS homescreen. Additionally, lyrics can be translated by leveraging on-device translation.

FEATURES:

The album cover didn’t change to the recently play in the widger

I already changed in the widget to let it show the recently played but it didn’t change when the new song coming. What should i do?

Hi,
I am sorry to hear that Power Player is not working as intended. The widget not updating might be caused by one of the following:
- Due to a bug on Apple’s side, the first song being played completely will only be updated after the second song has been played completely when the app is in the foreground. Apple’s API does not send a signal to Power Player when a song has been played completely and the app uses a workaround to detect completely played songs.
- Power Player currently does not support background refreshing. With my current understanding, the background execution is scheduled by the system which could delay updating the Widgets.
- WidgetKit has decided the Widget should not be updated at the moment. Although Power Player sends WidgetKit signals when it detects a song has been played, WidgetKit ultimately decides if it finds updating the Widget appropriate. Based on my experience, the Widget will be updated within a few minutes.
