Little kinks make it difficult

I really like this app but I wish it had a few more features.

I wish there was an option for weekdays or weekends so I can more easily set up routines. Maybe the reoccurring option would allow you to pick the days they reoccur? Like a Tues, Thurs, reoccurring event is a little challenging to add. Plus you can’t copy/paste events. For someone who has the “out of sight/out of mind” ADHD, this tool becomes more challenging than helpful in this area. I also wish there was an “all day busy” feature that I could see on the pi chart so I could see that I can’t schedule anything on a day. I tried doing something similar by doing 12am-11:55pm but it leaves a really annoying little sliver that I can’t stop staring at. Also, I need to be able to schedule multiple reminders (like 10) for some things. So more opportunity for reminders are helpful.

I know this is being advertised for people with ADHD but the app still feels very neurotypical to be honest.

KLiuKLiuJK, this is incredible feedback, thank you! We'd love to learn more about how to make PiCal work better for you, would you mind reaching out to aja@pical.app so we can make this happen? Thanks!

Visually interesting, but missing a few things

I love the design of this app so much I ended up buying a subscription after 3 days! Being able to visualize my time this way has made a world of difference, especially the way you can layer calendars within rings!

The biggest missing feature for me is no ability to include travel time, which is often my biggest hitch. It wouldn’t have to be Google Maps perfect (though I can only imagine what a game changer this app is for a bus schedule!!), but even the ability to include a rough average would be a huge boon to your user base!

I definitely love the widgets and I can see myself keeping this app just for that, regardless of whether the above suggestions are implemented. I plan to also use this to help plan out my trips into town, so I can better see my bus/timing options

Great start, but needs more

I was extremely excited to get this app due to the calendar lay out. As a mom with adhd and 4 different schedules to keep up with this would be great for me! I have a child with ADHD also, I manage his schedule and my thoughts were to share it with him and have him utilizes the check list, since every morning afternoon and night or before going anywhere repeating have you done this or you need to do this is utterly exhausting. Unfortunately the subscription is to just one device, even though it says it is shareable under family, it is not. I contacted developer who said it was in apples end and apple says it’s on the developer end. I think having the subscription linked to an email address vs your Apple ID would solve this issue. Also when entering the schedule the repeat needs to have better options, have the days listed so you could choose every non, wed, fri, or weekdays, or weekends. I will keep checking back for the improvements in hopes I could utilize this!

Hqigbwosh, Family sharing works now! We hadn't noticed it had to be switched on separately, but now it is.
