X 17+

I rarely used, and never really liked Twitter before it became ‘X’. But, the one thing I always liked about Twitter was the ability to use the platform as a sex cam couple. They didn’t allow free speech, accept in that way, and I really did appreciate that. I hadn’t used Twitter in years but recently downloaded X. It has short posts, short comments, etc. just like Twitter used to, but now you don’t have to worry about getting shutdown because of your views. I like X for news, engaging in social issues, and other serious stuff. But I never use it for personal or family things, I think Facebook is better for that, and comedy. Unfortunately on Facebook you really can’t speak freely regarding political opinions or current affairs without worry of being censored/shutdown. Give X a try, but just be sure to actively steer your interests on the app or it might feed you some rage bait. It might not be purposefully done, but I have had a lot of that on my timeline. Also, not a fan of the paywall on there either, but hey, I understand why Musk has to do it. I applaud him for taking a personal financial loss to protect free speech.

I always really liked Twitter but it was annoying when it started turning ugly with so much angry trolling years ago. Then they implemented a bunch of controls to help make it sane and calm again. Then it became X and now it’s a big giant loud and rude contest again. And that should be fine - I get that it’s a public forum and In don’t really care who owns the platform - but the good thing about it has always been my ability choose my follows and fine tune my feed. But no - logging in defaults to a generic feed that has all kinds of crummy loudmouth negative opinions from people formerly banned from the platform right up top. You have to hit one more button to get to your follows feed. So annoying. And it would be one thing if they were just using an analytic algorithm to lead me to this I might enjoy but they’re not. They’re putting things they know I’ll have to drive reactions which is just rude. I even get alerts whenever the company’s current rude owner posts another dumb opinion - one more thing I didn’t ask for and don’t want. And they just made likes private. Like used to be a good tool to find more accounts to follow organically. Now it’s some creepy fake privacy meant to separate people even more and cut non corporate funding avenues for support. I just plain don’t enjoy this app experience. Keep the corny new name if you insist but change the general interaction functionality back to like 2012 settings and I’ll love it again.

i just don’t understand what the point of this app is. all i see when i open the app is genuinely terrible acts and violence. i’ve seen people getting straight up murdered on this app, with no previous warnings or even censoring. it’s always extremely graphic as well. shootings, stabbings, you name it, it’s on twitter. i also saw a drunk woman getting sexually assaulted, also no warnings or censoring. and then of course there’s street fights, school fights, real domestic violence situations,robberies, kidnappings, then the trumpie brainrot/misinformation ab the left/right winged propaganda etc. ofc it’s extremely racist, homophobic, xenophobic, any type of hate towards a group is there too. oh and don’t even get me started on the porn that’s literally everywhere, including the comment sections of unrelated videos. i’m sure there’s CP on there too although i thankfully haven’t come across that. i feel SO sorry for any kids who somehow stumbled across these types of vids like this on x, im sure a lot did bc thats literally all that’s on the app. yes ik kids shouldn’t be on social media especially x but of course kids are curious and don’t know better. its like elon what are you doing? do you enjoy watching these types of videos because you clearly don’t care, it’s all your app consists of. you’re actually sick in the head. i feel INCREDIBLY sorry for your kids especially the one you named after falling asleep on your keyboard.
