I have seen and used the services of a few companies but I can tell you honestly that no company is as real as VAGUPDATE with true professional staff. VAGupdate contacted me about a software update for a specific software version available for my car and VIN only to later pull it back when I couldn't install it on my vehicle. They said it was "recalled" and not available. I requested a refund but they denied it. This is very deceptive. VAGupdate contacted me for a specific software, couldn't deliver and will not refund.

I recently purchased the GeKo account service from vagupdate.com, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience! The process was smooth and straightforward from start to finish. The service was activated promptly, and everything worked exactly as advertised.

Their service for GEKO account is a scam. If the request is not accepted and you get a refund, you will receive the amount minus $250. Does that mean the monthly fee is $100? It doesn't make sense. And they don't even give refunds properly. I had to go to a PayPal dispute to get it. Never use them.

first i want to buy an monthly Geko account, i contact vagupdate.com and told them that im outside of the USA is that okey to buy? they said ( Region is not a problem ), so i go to buy the account , and at the lower page they write ( refund if dealer reject the form ) and when you buy the item and download the form ( u can download the form ONLY after you buy the account ) they write ( 250$ nonrefundable if dealer reject) !!!! this is not the only problem, so i get Declined from the dealer after 1 business day so i call the dealer to check the requirements , dealer said ( we accept only if the workshop inside the USA or Canada)!! and i ask the dealer about the nonrefundable fees and he said its 100$ not 250$!!! and need 14 business days to process and answer if the form is accepted or no, my question is , did Vagupdate.com send my form to dealer at all ? how they got declined answer within 24hr and dealer need 14 business days to answer back ? , now they dont answer me at all on website chat and whatsapp :))

I imported a Golf GTE from Japan to UK. I needed a patch and firmware update to change the MIB2 from Asia to EU. The software I bought from vagupdate did the job and I now have the car the way I want it. I did read the reviews and was slightly suspicious that the negative ones were not genuine, so I decided to trust and was not disappointed. A great service from a trustworthy company. Thank you!

I was having reboot issues with my VW MIB. I contacted vagupdate team for a solution and they provided me firmware update and I installed it on my own without visiting dealer or workshop. It was super easy and now my problem is fixed. Thank you guys.

Scam site! Bought an infotainment firmware update. Contacted by chat and was promised a newer version. When i recieved the download link the firmware predated the car.

When contacting them by chat they seemed helpful at first, telling me that they would contact the dealer when The firmware couldnt be installed. When I notoced that the firmware was at least 4 years old i tried to make a return. They did no longer respond in a timely manner. I initiated a paypal dispute and immediately recieved threats that they would report me to the dealer and revoking the cars warranty on whatsapp. Paypal was not helpful.

Beware, they will take your money and run.

Please report them to FTC. They are scam site. They order parts from AliExpress, claiming it is coming from their wharehouse.

You can buy most of the stuff they sell from AliExpress for cheaper.

I have been using their ETKA online service for a while and I am happy with it. They offer cheap solution for online VIN check. If you are looking this kind of service do not look anywhere else. This is the best and cheap solution I could find online.
