My card was mistakenly flagged as fraudulent, and customer service has failed to respond appropriately.
They only replied for the first time, but their response didn’t even address my issue. Instead, they sent a generic template, which shows they didn’t read or understand my email. I emailed them twice more, and they're properly ignored.
This has caused me numerous inconveniences. Even stores I used to shop at no longer accept the same card. All of this is a result of mistakes made by this company. Worst of all, no one knows how to resolve the issue except ADYEN, but they're completely unhelpful!

Waiting well over a month for a refund on Ticketmaster concert tickets which resold on the Ticketmaster platform. This is the company they use to process resale refunds. You provide correct banking and personal information and it gets verified and then they don't make payment, advising your details are not correct, please wait another 10-15 business days. This goes on and on while they collect interest on people's money while they stall payment.
They mislead by naming each and every transaction adyen.nl on your bank account - so it costs you critical thinking and effort to investigate what was that transaction for - usually it's for a subscription you though you canceled 2-3 years ago. It's an ultimate cheat snake business ever! Like wow... Way to go you guys, way to go...
We will all burn in hell sooner or later if this is how we keep doing business.
They don't work with new businesses, here's their reply to my application:
"it is not our current focus to onboard marketplaces that are just starting out.
The requirements for our marketplace solutions are as follows:
̵ Already processing payments
̵ Steady cash-flow or venture capital"
So why just don't put it to their web site as a statement before asking to signup. Isn't it cheating?

What is this
What is this? Ive just received money from you?? Why? I dont remember even being in touch with you?

This review is from an employee, not a customer or service user. It reflects my experience working at Adyen.
Adyen recruited me directly from a stable job, promising growth and development. However, after just one month, I was terminated without proper justification. The reasons given were vague and contradictory, such as "not fitting into the office" or "not spending enough time at the office," despite meeting all agreed-upon conditions.
I received no constructive feedback, no opportunity to improve, and no explanation during or after termination. My follow-up emails seeking clarity were ignored. The sudden decision caused significant financial instability, especially since it came during the holiday season.
The management's handling of employees lacks transparency and professionalism, and I cannot recommend this company as an employer.

The worst
The worst - have tried 4 times to pay for airline tickets on Air Asia. Just a spinning wheel - doesn't time out; no error message; no 'pls try again later' - just a spinning wheel for like 10 mins each time. Why do any companies even deal with these people?

Adyen system almost tarnished the reputation of a good company
Because of this broken Adyen system, I almost wrote a bad review jetbrains.com that uses this broken Adyen payment system!
I asked a Jetbrains for a refund for a license purchased by mistake. Company answer to me that the refund was made, but the money was not returned to my account. And now in their system Adyen shows that my $199 was never credited to their account at all (the transaction status is "CANCELED", as if they never even received my money).
*UPD* Jetbrains refers to the answer from Adyen:
"Since the funds never left the shopper's account, the amount could still be on hold by the issuing bank. Each issuing bank has their own authorisation release policies."
Thereby not returning my $199🤯

Adyen has worst KYC process ever
Adyen has worst KYC process ever! They tend to be smart for kyc process, using of AI but in fact just collecting people data and keep rejecting KYC process. This happened to me for KYC process for Vinted which handled by Adyen. Adyen, people use human logic too in your KYC process, you cannot just automatize everything.

Data Harvesting Site!
Ticketmaster Resale directed me to this organisation - it's a third party that facilitates sale of a surplus concert ticket.
The information to enrol is far beyond what one would expect - date of birth, license number, home address, phone number, bank account details including a bank document less than 12 months old - all the hallmarks of an information harvesting site.
Here's what they want......
Seller Account Verification  Hi xxxx,  When you list tickets on Ticketmaster, our payment provider (Adyen) perform checks to authenticate the information provided at the time of listing.  Unfortunately they were unable to verify your account with the information supplied and have asked for some additional documents. Providing your Documents  To ensure we have your correct details we need you to login to Your Account, and click "Edit" in either the "Seller Personal Information" or "Bank Account Detail" sections to be taken to Adyen's Hosted Onboarding Page to upload the required document(s).  You may be asked for: A clear scan or photo of a bank statement or letter  This should show the account holder name, billing address, sort code and account number, and should match your bank details as entered for payment.  A scan of valid government issued Photo ID to confirm identity  This is to confirm your identity, In line with Adyen's KYC (‘Know Your Customer’) requirements.  Don’t forget: - An ID document must be clear (all 4 corners visible & unobstructed) - Make sure your date of birth is correct - The first & last name on your account needs to match your ID document exactly - If you’ve been asked for a bank statement, check that the document matches the bank account you’ve advised for payment. - The bank logo and account holder must be visible as well as the account details  Failure to supply the information requested will mean that your listing will not be active and you will not be able to sell your tickets.

No company should work with Adyen
No company should work with Adyen. This company extorts confidential data, asks for bank statements, ID photos, etc. Using Vinted is a penalty due to Adyen's stupid rules. Stop further cooperation with these extortionists.

Withholding full refund amount
I ordered a Starlink internet system for an offer odeal of £225.00 and Adyen were the fulfilment company. For various reasons I had to send it back and request a refund.
When they issued the refund they only gave me £100.00 and stated that 'If I had an issue with it then raise a ticket with Starlink. Well given they have a 100% refund policy within 14x days, of course I had an issue with it, so I requested the remaining £125.00.
20x days later and 10x support tickets chasing it, including one reply confirming I was eligible for a full refund, I finally had to threaten them with chasing via the fraud department at my bank and following up with the UK Ombudsman Association. The remaining due refund was then issued within a few hours.
If I was an old person not capable of chasing this so hard I would have given up and they would be making 125.00 illegally.
This is a terrible way of doing business and they are untrustworthy company.
Starlink are no better in terms of support. They didn't help at all and there was no one you could speak to on the phone.
Having everything through support tickets is fine as long as someone actually responds and helps you. They don't care.

They don't accept new businesses
They don't accept new businesses. I tried to apply and they replied saying my business was one of the prohibited businesses on their list. I checked it, and it absolutely isn't. I'm also American but opened a business overseas. I got a reply as if someone didn't even read the message, but automatic. They should just say they don't accept new businesses, but instead I wasted my time and gave them my information. So don't bother if you are a new business, or if you don't already have proof you've made a ton of money.

As we’re only the payment processor for this transaction, we can’t refund requests or take action on individual cancellations."

This company is an absolute joke!!!!
This company is an absolute joke. I've been waiting on a payment from Ticketmaster.ie via these clowns since mid December when I resold event tickets. I was told I would be receiving payment within 10-12 working days. I've tried the online chat function as there is no way to speak to a human regarding this order. I've checked and re-checked my personal and bank details to make sure they are correct but keep receiving the same message
'In further review
More time is needed to verify the information below. This usually takes 2-3 business days. Please reach out to Ticketmaster or visit our FAQ page if you have any questions in the meantime.'
Where is my money?????????
