After having a bad experience with STRIPE, we found AIRWALLEX online. They have been very helpfull to get our business started and have worked with us for since the start of our account to help us to grow to where we are now. Their website and reviews showed them to be excellent. For me, however, it all fell apart even before we got to use Airwallex. The customer service is probably one of the worst I have dealt with. The on-boarding process took a long time, days, even a week between communication. The straw that broke the camel's back, was when I asked for a simple clarification and now, 2 weeks later, I'm still awaiting an answer. The "local support phone number" does now work and it hangs up on me within 10 seconds of connecting. Trying to book a meeting with an "Airwallex product specialist" reveals a first available date in 5 days time and at 4am or just before midnight my time. Overall, I contacted Airwallex's customer support probably 5-6 times, with the same results. How can I trust this company to help me in the future should any more serious, god forbid, money issues arise, when they can not answer a single, simple question in a timely manner? I would certainly not recommend them.

We needed a new way to pay invoices and other suppliers overseas. After some trouble with providers we finally came across Airwallex.
Their platform is amazing, but it's the little things the team does that makes me love the company as a whole. Not only was their onboarding process straight up fun, the team are so very human.
It's the one team that I would voluntarily call, just because I enjoy working with them so much!
10/10 would recommend.

Was very excited about this coming in. The idea just seemed cool and the rates looked really good. Just made my first transaction tho and tbh, I’m not that impressed... I sent money to a supplier in South Korea and my payment got flagged in the British Virgin Islands...??? My payment is still being held and my shipment obviously held up. Questions via email are not being answered and just forwarded. Will update this if the situation changes.

We have loved moving over to Airwallex for our business international funds transfers. Their customer service is first class, and they are definitely the most competitive product on the market. I had tried another money transfer company previously and the time from submitting the payment to the end client took days and days.
Airwallex once setup is so quick and easy to transfer funds anywhere in the world. I have no issues in recommending you give them a try. Best part is no added bank fees on the transfer. What you see as the amount you need to have available is the amount you will pay.
I have heard from the fund receivers that they are very happy with being able to receive payments so quickly now.

The customer support from Airwallex is next level. Being able to speak directly to a real person on the phone who is so knowledgeable about the product and just super lovely (Yvia is amazing) makes such a difference. Airwallex has the best rates for international transactions and is very easy to use. Aside from being a great product that will save our business on FX fees, their customer service is exceptional. They are proactive in reaching out as part of the on boarding process - Anna made sure I understood exactly how the platform works, gave me tips on how to best use it for our business, and provides detailed answers to any additional questions I think of.

I don't usually write recommendations for online platforms and tools, but this one is worth the time and effort to share. The Airwallex platform is truly great, I have looked for a Global payment solution for some time now, to avoid the harsh bank fees and bad FX rates that the Australian bank's charge, plus to make it easier for my business partners to pay into a local bank account, in AUD or USD, Airwallex has it all. Fantastic product and Incredible service - unlike anything from the big four. It's intelligent banking for businesses with customers overseas. We'll make significant savings with great FX rates and no fees plus the ability to hold currency and have local bank accounts overseas. So good, it's embarrassing we stuck with our high street bank for so long.
