I never had to make a claim but after 6 months or so sold the car that was covered. I contacted ALA, had a reply within hours and a refund within 3 days
Unbelievably great customer support. Even though the whole process only took a few days there were communications every step of the way
This review is only about buying experience! Fortunately I didn't have to claim yet anything so I can't review ALA company as a whole.
I did make a call to ALA phone info just to check everything is right. And I was very positively surprised by very nice advisor, human by the way, not hated AI.
Overall very good experience so far.

My policy has doubled from £350 odd which I paid last year to £669 to renew this year. I haven’t made any claims. I would understand a 10-20% increase, but an increase of a 100% is unjustifiable. The other reviews also suggest that if I did have a claim, they might have looked for a way not to pay out on the policy.
I will not be renewing.
