She looked after everything I needed; she re-activated my insurance policy that shouldn’t have been cancelled; she made sure my insurance was binding over the holidays when not everyone was available; she walked me through insuring my new car; ensured my change of address for both home and auto was done; AND kept me informed every step of the way. When I was on hold, she would email me to let me know what was happening; when I got cut off, she phoned me back immediately. Just incredible. The epitome of stellar customer service. Gold medal or gratitude from me!!!

What a train wreck of a company big mistake moving my business here. Glad to be back with an honest provider that has proper customer service.

Plus, he wanted a bunch of documents that I've never had to submit to an insurance company before.
When I asked him about these inconsistencies he just shrugged them off; no real answer.

Unhelpful
We were given a recommendation to go through Brokerlink for car insurance. We have been in Australia for the last 10 years, so coming back to Alberta we knew premiums were going to be high. The first time the lady just told me to send her a bunch of documents - didn't even go through the quote process with me on the phone, then quoted me $10,000. We were baffled. Nil follow up attempts were made from this broker. The second man we spoke to was super helpful and thorough - spent over an hour on the phone with me getting all the details correct. Got us a quote of $3,500. However, apparently the company didn't accept the quote. Then the communication died off. I requested help multiple times for the next steps. Nil effort was made to get our business. No follow up steps were given. When i asked for more quotes to different companies, it was promised they would be sent through - i never heard anything further. And we ended up going with a different company. We paid $2,900. Still wildly high but at least we got insurance! I was so confused why it was so difficult to get anywhere with the brokers from brokerlink. Really frustrating experience and I wont be recommending them.

Untrustworthy, Bad Service
They convinced me to overpay for car insurance from Intact, telling me it was the lowest rate possible. Now I've switched to TD and am paying half the price. They also reply very slowly or not at all. Do not trust them for your insurance needs.

Unprofessional
Kaylie from the Glenmore location took months to reply to me for renewing insurance. I moved on and got insurance else where . Almost a year later brokerlink was asking for payment. Brokerlink is a very unprofessional business . Take my advice and stay away from Brokerlink .

They pulled the wool over my eyes
They pulled the wool over my eyes. The quoting broker gave me her personal number to contact and discuss about insurance. Where I declined a discount on a private call but got tricked into agreeing to it on a recorded call. Unfortunately for me it was a very rushed situation (do to other circumstances) but I won't let it happen again. Only after my insurance went up almost $1500 for the year did I realize what had happened. Even when I emailed her asking why my quote was $250 more than initially quoted there was no return email. I figured there was some misc fee and let it go. When I called Broker Link about the problem I was told I should have emailed their payment department about it not the sales rep. I didn't know that they had multiple different departments to deal with customers. Needless to say I feel like the victim in this situation, and might have to take this up with Ribo.
I noticed on the broker link website it says they have over 14,000 Google reviews at 4.5/5.0 but for some reason I can't seem to find a way to leave a Google review too.
To anyone that reads this the biggest life lesson I can take from this is not to agree to contact this company unless it is by email, that way you don't have to depend on their (so called) recorded calls and you have your own records. Also if you have made the mistake I have there is still a place in Ontario you can contact if you feel that they have taken advantage of you. RIBO is the name and it stands for registered insurance brokers of Ontario.

Worst insurance company ever
Worst insurance company ever. First off they have my gender marked as male when I’m clearly a female. Second I’ve been insured under my own insurance before (with them under pembridge, and another company) and they couldn’t find my most recent insured file and on top of that when I was insured with pembridge I had asked specifically for 2 mill insurance because of my job at the time. The agent said it was done and I thought everything was good to go, Come to find out when I sell this car they never put the 2 mill insurance on?! but when now calling to put insurance on my new vehicle they’re requiring inspection when it’s not out of province and my husband has been with them for years and has never had this requirement made. Extremely unprofessional and rude and will go into other people’s files while on the phone with you to try and prove a point. STAY FAR AWAY.
