I've had a terrible experience with global yo. The sim I was sold worked for 50% of the time. At a certain moment the sim simply stopped getting any signal! When I turned to the support about it, they were not able to help and even stopped responding untill I bugged them again the next day.
When asking for a refund, I was told I am not eligible since I used more than 50% of the sim (I used 52.6% before it stopped working).
Bad company I would avoid it at anycost
Best pricing i could find for Turkey. Unfortunately the connection is not so stable and strong as from local sim. Also my Honor Magic 5 pro was not able to find APN settings automatically, while Xiaomi and iPhone were detected automatically.
We used global YO during a family trip to Canada. Everyone had their own eSIM, and it was so much easier than sharing hotspots. No one complained about connection issues, which is a miracle in itself!
Apart from the app looking like 10 billboards created by someone who is colourblind (to each their own) the deals are pretty good and installation and usage is fine.
The big issue is that the activation time is not a specific time on their side or a local time on your side.
That's why I never got the full agreed duration that I booked.
This is especially unfortunate if you then have to book an additional day when 7 days would have been sufficient or you basically lose half a day on a day package.

only had three days in Mexico, so I didn’t want to waste time buying a local SIM. Global YO got me online instantly, and the speeds were perfect for streaming and maps.

I was worried about coverage in Japan’s countryside, but Global YO surprised me. Used it in Tokyo, Kyoto, and even the mountains, and the connection was solid everywhere. Way cheaper than local SIMs too.

The prices are good and the online tech support is helpful and responds quickly. Should I have to waste time on tech support to get an Automatically installed esim to work? Expect technical issues and to waste your first day of paid access in a country with your esim connecting but not giving network access.
If this happens, the most likely cause is an incorrect APN being set during the automated install process.
From my experience, money spent on VoIP calls is a complete waste of time. Have been unable to make calls. Wouldn't give credit for this service when asked as I had spent enough time trouble shooting when I am on holidays.
Update.
Have said they will give a credit. I do not believe it has anything to do with this review. Seems it would have got to that point anyway with more patience from me. Rest of the review stands.

Super helpful the agent Ninja Frank!! My eSIM card stopped working when I was in Mexico City, frank helped me right away, troubleshooted for me, I was able to use again!! It means so much especially when you are alone in a foreign country , and you rely on internet to navigate ! Will definitely buy again !
