I bought an eSIM for a friend travelling to Nigeria, only to find out that his phone was locked to a service provider so couldn’t install the eSIM. After trying other options I requested a refund. The refund process is still underway but they said it was ‘underway’. So I trust it will happen soon.
I contacted Holafly via whatsapp to enquire about plans for multiple destinations.
The response was prompt, professional and warm.

I recently purchased a Holafly eSIM card for my trip to France, and I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Despite paying a premium price, the service was unreliable from the start. The data connection kept cutting off, leaving me unable to access the internet when I needed it most.
I found myself stranded without the ability to make phone calls or send texts, which was incredibly frustrating. I had hoped that this eSIM would make my travels easier, but instead, it added unnecessary stress to my trip.
Overall, I cannot recommend Holafly. It’s expensive and did not deliver the reliable service I expected. Save your money and look for a more dependable option!

I was initially advised that Holafly by one of their advisors that the e-sim can be used on Android, only to discover this is not the case. On same day of transaction, requested a refund, which was confirmed that this would take place within 10 business days, which has now passed. Sent final email today, failing a refund being issued a formal complaint will be submitted.Located details of CEO and head office in Dublin, will be reporting fraudulent practices and retention of money to their version of companies house.
