As others have found, it's a slow process using Raisin, it takes days to put money in or take it out. I was able to forgive that for a while as they were delivering decent rates but I noticed that one of the accounts I had was paying 0.5% more if it was directly with the bank rather than through Raisin. I guess Raisin need a margin of their own but if so and you can't win on price and can't deliver a better service/ experience, I'm struggling to understand the point... the app is pretty good but the speed of transfers needs to be addressed for a better experience but maybe this just doesn't work as a business model.

Whilst it's a competitive platform for access to banks and other product providers, it is only an intermediary. That would be fine if it were not for the fact that Raisin seems to take a relatively long time between an instruction to actually deposit funds in one's connected bank account. In this age of Fintech 'business' days are not really valid, nevertheless the expected clearance timescale from instruction to withdrawal is two business days. However, in my recent withdrawal 14/2/25 it took Raisin 2 days to acknowledge the instruction on 16/2 with the funds now further delayed over the weekend until at least 20/2. On other savings apps like Atom and Marcus the transfer is near instantaneous. Two days might be acceptable due to the mechanics of an intermediary platform, but a week is excessive and has attritional effect on interest benefits, plus I may have time sensitive requirements that their quasi notice account easy access account may cause me to miss!
Edit 20/1/25. The withdrawal from an investment into one's holding account and then back to a connected account is a two step process. I had missed overlooked this. The nice agent was well mannered and help me to understand where I went wrong. So it's up from 3 to 5 stars.
I have put 85000 of my hard earned money, now they have blocked my account saying i have to provide evidence of source of fund. It was transferred from UK natwest bank to here, If it is cash I understand source of fund required, not a from a bank transfer. I provided evidence now, god knows how long will it take now to release my money, its already been 5 days now waiting for my money and they reduce change interest rate with in a month after i open each account in here. horrible bank. NO go zone.
Good interest rates better than high st banks so far no issues

It’s painfully slow
It’s painfully slow , I assume they hang onto your money so gain interest on it , but it takes 3 days to open a new account and 2 working days to transfer in and out , then another 2 days to get it back to your linked account , it should be instant,
I can’t really recommend it , it’s faster to set accounts up with the individual banks , raising bring nothing to the party except delays

Terrible “bank”
Terrible “bank”. The app so slow, buggy and confusing. Important things like your account balance are not consistent across screens. I’ve just tried to withdraw funds and it still says my money is in an account yet it can no longer withdraw it. Terrible terrible terrible.

Beware of this sinister company!
I just tried to withdraw money from my Raisin account for the first time. When I asked for a verification code by text, I got the message, 'Something went wrong - please try again.' So I did, MANY TIMES! Then I saw on a different section of the Raisin website that my verification system has been 'deactivated', so trying again was a waste of time. To re-activate the account I must provide much more evidence of source of funds than any other bank or savings account provider has asked for. I have made a formal complaint to Raisin.co.uk and will complain to the Financial Conduct Authority if Raisin behave badly again, as I fully expect. It's odd that I set up the Raisin account and funded it from a well-known high-street bank but my first attempt to withdraw money was blocked. I'll add another review as my complaint proceeds.

I tried to open a 2 year fixed rate…
I tried to open a 2 year fixed rate account with a significant deposit. It all seemed very smooth until the address section. The address options from the drop down list did not include any of the addresses on my little close. I was told to call customer service, who then told me that I couldn't apply bacuse the address was wrong. That's just ridiculous.
On the plus side, the interface for the application was smooth and the customer service waiting time and the professionalism of the staff was great.

When it goes wrong no one is there
The automated platform is easy to use until something goes wrong. When you have an issue there is no way to resolve it other than an email even the phone representative can only write an email. I am currently seven days without a reply and my account is frozen so I cannot withdraw any money. Even when they unfreeze my account I will not be able to receive my money for FIVE days. There are better saving sites such as Monument, Hargreaves Lansdown and Flagstone

All well until I wanted my money back.
All well until I wanted my money back.
I know it is a cliche, but the problems with this bank (if it is even a proper bank) started when I tried to get my money back out, after a 2 year savings bond expired.
First of all, I phoned them for instructions on how to withdraw my money. There was a "withdraw" button on their website, but something about this gave me pause as it was linked to an IBAN number that I didn't recognise, and after getting the representative to confirm the bank details that I would be withdrawing to, realised that this was NOT my current account, of which I only have one, and that they had on record a completely bogus account as my "nominated account".
Had I just opted for "withdraw" without querying this, all my money would have gone to a fraudster.
They then talked me through how to change the nominated account details, which I duly did.
Tried to log back in a couple of days later to finally access my money, and found that my account has been disappeared - login email and password no longer work and repeated requests for a password reset (even though I have clearly not forgotten my password) have received no response.
I have been frantically trying to contact them but cannot get through to anyone.
Would caution other savers against using this organisation. At best they are grossly negligent with your money, worst case something more sinister is going on that people can't get their money back.
