As others have found, it's a slow process using Raisin, it takes days to put money in or take it out. I was able to forgive that for a while as they were delivering decent rates but I noticed that one of the accounts I had was paying 0.5% more if it was directly with the bank rather than through Raisin. I guess Raisin need a margin of their own but if so and you can't win on price and can't deliver a better service/ experience, I'm struggling to understand the point... the app is pretty good but the speed of transfers needs to be addressed for a better experience but maybe this just doesn't work as a business model.

Like other customers I’ve been using raisin for a few years however the functionality and competitiveness of rates offered has declined. While the product range has increased, I have found more competitive rates elsewhere. Where it has previously been easy to access funds I have had to wait 2 days after the fixed term expired to request a withdrawal, bugs with authenticating the request (using the only option available (text message) which works immediately for logging in but not for verifying withdrawals). When other options have better rates and smoother transactions Raisin is expecting customers to make too many compromises.
Very nice app to use, it has all the main information needed
Whilst it's a competitive platform for access to banks and other product providers, it is only an intermediary. That would be fine if it were not for the fact that Raisin seems to take a relatively long time between an instruction to actually deposit funds in one's connected bank account. In this age of Fintech 'business' days are not really valid, nevertheless the expected clearance timescale from instruction to withdrawal is two business days. However, in my recent withdrawal 14/2/25 it took Raisin 2 days to acknowledge the instruction on 16/2 with the funds now further delayed over the weekend until at least 20/2. On other savings apps like Atom and Marcus the transfer is near instantaneous. Two days might be acceptable due to the mechanics of an intermediary platform, but a week is excessive and has attritional effect on interest benefits, plus I may have time sensitive requirements that their quasi notice account easy access account may cause me to miss!
Edit 20/1/25. The withdrawal from an investment into one's holding account and then back to a connected account is a two step process. I had missed overlooked this. The nice agent was well mannered and help me to understand where I went wrong. So it's up from 3 to 5 stars.

Well recovered after a poor start
I can’t believe that I am writing a positive review of Raisin.
After a very good initial conversation, I pledged purchase of (2) significant value ICICI Bonds. However I needed to query the first two small deposits towards them and like some other reviewers I found Raisin impossible to contact by phone, email or web site secure email for days on end. Exacerbated and at the end of my tether I dramatically reduced both investments to the bare minimum and even tried to cancel them.
It turned out they were all being trained on the new incoming website and no explanatory voice message, or out of office alert was recorded.
By chance I then saw them recommended by Money Supermarket and Savings Champion, both of which I hold in high regard, so I thought I would give them one last try.
This time, the phones were answered, they apologised profusely, checked and confirmed my initial deposits and, having resurrected my original Bond purchase totals, I found the transaction process to be very efficient with good email progress updates, right through to Bond purchase.
The website is also well laid out, easy to use and shows where your money is throughout all transactions through to Bond purchase.
In conclusion, poor management of their training absences must have cost them hundreds of thousands in investment. In my case, they should thank Money Supermarket and Savings Champion for their recommendations.
I’ll let you know how I get on claiming the bonus I am due.
Update: I am also pleased to say that both Bonus' have also been received without a hitch. If not for my initial experience I would definitely have given Raisin 4 Stars

Simple and easy with free money
I applied for the great ICICI savings account I heard about through Martin Lewis and I failed. But I rang up customer services and realised that I hadn’t included my middle name on my application. Tried again, got accepted, transferred my funds and I was just paid my £50 bonus into my bank account this week. I like free money, so this worked out very well for me. Customer services were very helpful. Would recommend.

Easy way of opening an account
Easy way of opening an account. Unlike other posters I could open an account at ICICI without any problem. My message to customer service was answered within 3 days which is ok for me. I now received an information that they are upgrading their platform, maybe that´ll resolve the problems others seem to experience.

Truly awful & a complete waste of time
Truly awful & a complete waste of time. Like another poster I tried to invest in an ICICI account only to be rejected for some unknown reason. I am a UK tax payer with full identification credentials & yet, I cannot make a simple & relatively small investment via their portal.
They cannot offer any sensible explanation & simply invite you to try again which will not be happening because I have better things to do with my time.
I asked them to remove my personal information & close the account which is another struggle. They warn you that once closed you cannot apply for one of their accounts at a later date. Why would I when they are so poor?
Steer well clear unless you want to waste your time.
Far better alternatives in the marketplace that is for sure.

Raisin - more like dried prune
I tried to open an ICICI account through Raisin which was denied for some reason. (However, I was able to open an account directly with ICICI). Therefore I have contacted Raisin to close my account and delete all my personal information which they have refused to acknowledge or action. I have contacted them a number times with the same 'robot' type response -
In order for us to action this, we would need to verify your account. To do this please either send in a secure message via your customer portal or give us a call on 03301 220 200 and a member of the team can amend this for you.
I have done this a number times and still no response, even after their stated reply time of 48 hours.
This company is not reputable. It is not recommended. I have no confidence in it's conduct or professionalism. Avoid.
Update - email received today (7/8/18) at 13.55 stated:
"I can confirm your account has been removed and is no longer accessible in our system. Please note this is the last email you will receive from us."
Notice that the above email does not confirm that the Company has deleted my personal information from their records. Raisin UK is shockingly unprofessional and inept in its correspondence. Once again, I have given the company another seven working days to confirm that my personal information has deleted before I complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
If you wish to open a savings account, go directly to the provider. Raisin UK are a mess waiting to happen.

Avoid like the plague!!! see details.
Awful!
Website confusing. Messages contradictory. Telephone contact impossible - friendly voice says they're very busy but will phone you back. They don't. Two places to contact via website. Couldn't decide which suited. Tried them both. They seem to go to different places and these places do not talk to each other. Security is laughable - all id needed is email address and password. So disenchanted I asked for the return of my (small thank god) investment. After several attempts I managed to squeeze an acknowledgement from them, and a promise that the money would be sent to my linked account in two working days.
This did not happen.

Disappointing.
Website is very confusing and difficult to navigate. I e-mailed the company. They say they reply to queries within 24-48 hours but it took them 6 days to reply.
