I had my diploma evaluated by this center two years ago.
On January 14th, I requested that my previously evaluated diploma copy be sent to an institution in California. I received an email confirmi
ng it was shipped, but no tracking details were provided. After 10 days, I contacted the recipient institution and learned that they had not yet received it. I sent two messages to Spantran for information, but despite several days passing, I have not received any response.
Additionally, on January 23rd, I paid for one more copy of my diploma evaluation to be sent to a nursing college, but I have not received any information about whether it has been shipped. The deadline for my application is this Friday, and if the shipment is delayed like the previous one, I will miss the application deadline.
I paid $60 separately for each shipment, totaling $120, but I have not been able to get a simple tracking number for two weeks. Normally, it takes 3-4 days for a shipment from Texas to California and costs around $4. For such an overpriced service, you can't even get a response. Stay away from this service. Because of them, I will miss my school application deadline, and it is very frustrating not to have anyone to contact

I applied for their general evaluation services with 2-day rush ($160) and their Document Verification Service ($120), as I urgently needed this evaluation for my transfer from one institute to another and I may lose my visa if this transfer doesn't happen on time. When I asked them about the status of my case, they said they are waiting to hear back from my University, but my University never received any verification request from them and it has been 7 working days since I placed my request (complete with payment).

I had a deeply disappointing experience with TEC/SpanTran. Their communication was unprofessional, with delayed responses and a lack of clear updates. Despite reaching out multiple times, I found it nearly impossible to speak with a representative, leaving me feeling frustrated and ignored throughout the process.

The evaluation took far longer than expected, and the lack of transparency regarding the delays only worsened the situation. When dealing with something as crucial as academic or professional evaluations, timely and effective communication should be a top priority—unfortunately, TEC/SpanTran fell far short in this regard.

I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking a reliable and responsive service.

I was able to reach them, only one time and that was the 1st day of my application. Once I payed the fees, they no longer picked my calls. Also the fees that paid included the whole process( contacting my school themselves to get my transcripts).
They never contact my school. I ended up contacting my school to have them send my transcripts to them. I never got refunded those fees.
The process took me about 8months. I got out with a very unsatisfied evaluation! They deliberately lowered my GPA.
Please,try somewhere else!!!!!

Unreliable, unresponsive!

Be Aware!

I had my diploma evaluated by this center two years ago.

Stay Away at all costs!

The Worst Translation Company EVER ..!!

If I could give it a -1 I would, but unfortunately the website won't let me. I've been waiting for my application from SPANTRAN for over 3 months, and they keep sending me emails telling me that my university has to send my documents. They've done it several times. They have no absolute control when it comes to processing applications. They asked me to pay different amounts on 3 occasions. I did it almost instantly...
However, I keep answering the same emails with screenshots, paid receipts, documents that my university sent.
AND TO DATE THE ONLY THING THEY ANSWER ME IS THAT IT IS STILL UNDER EVALUATION AND THAT I HAVE TO WAIT.

Today, after so many emails going back and forth, they sent me my general analysis FOR WHICH I ALREADY PAID AND THEY ALREADY SENT IT TO ME, however, the service that I requested is missing, a COURSE EVALUATION AND ACADEMIC PROGRESS FOR WHICH I OBVIOUSLY ALREADY PAID
In other words, they said "we are going to send you something that we already sent you and that you already paid for so that you stop sending emails"

Incredible, I can't understand how this company continues to provide services, I am currently calling for more than 2 hours to see if someone answers

If anyone is even thinking about hiring the services of TEC / SPANTRAN

I was able to reach them

I was able to reach them, only one time and that was the 1st day of my application. Once I payed the fees, they no longer picked my calls. Also the fees that paid included the whole process( contacting my school themselves to get my transcripts).
They never contact my school. I ended up contacting my school to have them send my transcripts to them. I never got refunded those fees.
The process took me about 8months. I got out with a very unsatisfied evaluation! They deliberately lowered my GPA.
Please,try somewhere else!!!!!

Call them Scam Tran

I paid for the transcript evaluation and have missed my application deadline because it says completed but pending verification. Have been emailing and calling them for over a week, cannot get a response. I would advise you to use anything other than this service.

Yaw Aidoo - Spantran sent my valuation to the wrong…

They sent my evaluation to the wrong institution and then claimed that one or more of my documents were inauthentic. I also paid for the expedited evaluation and it still took them 5 days. Never reached anyone or got a response to my calls to customer service.

The worst experience I’ve ever had

I simply had the worst experience with Spantran. I used this agency because it was the institution that the college I am applying for indicated to me, but I bitterly regret it. I should have consulted a different agency because they simply don't answer me since the day I made the payment for my evaluation. I paid for the 5 business day service, that is, I was supposed to have received my document more than 5 business days ago, but they still don't give me an answer. Their consumer service is non-existent, I've already sent an email and I've never been answered. I made a call to try to talk to an attendant and an automatic recording said that all the attendants were busy, which is very strange because I called exactly at 9:00 am when they start working hours. I was LITERALLY on hold for more than 1 hour and was not answered. I'm extremely frustrated with this company. I want my money back!! If you are thinking of hiring their service, just don't do it! Run away because this is a scam!

Unlikely you will get results

The company is a completely without merit! I see the 49% of the reviews are ONE STAR!!.
They produced no results for me at a cost of $285. I called SpanTran, waiting 30 minutes on the phone and was told that they had sent an email requesting additional information 5 months earlier and were waiting on MY response.
SpanTran advised me they wanted an additional $85 to complete the process. Then sent me an authorization form that couldn’t be printed.
I would Not Suggest Anyone Use This Company.

This is an honest review

This is an honest review. Nobody sponsored me to give this review. I want to share both positive and negative aspects.
Spantran did not disappoint me. I thank them from the bottom of my heart. They did the equivalence of my Pharmacy degree from Afghanistan and master's degree from France. Honestly, they did a great job. There are no changes in my scores and GPA. I did course by course equivalence. They were responsive. The only negative issue was that it took more than 10 days, which was not a big deal for me. God bless the person who worked on my diplomas.

Worst Evaluation Company

I literally threw the evaluation in the garbage when I got it because it was just a waste of money for me. I contacted support about the mistakes, but they didn’t even care.

The worst organization ever

The worst organization ever. Please don’t use them. They gave me different degree from what was on my Diploma when it’s clearly written on it. They deliberately reduced my GPA. Please do not use them. You have been warned

BE CAREFUL !

BE CAREFUL !! for who is going to use the SpanTran service. My Case was charged $325 without translate, They round up your grades of the subjects, by making them short. That calculation makes The Cumulative Grade Point Average/GPA is TOO SHORT. Their credential evaluation policies ( image below ) and implementation are OPPOSITE. For example, my Physics grade 6.3 = 2.52/C+ ( U.S Grade ) but their evaluation is 2/C.Every subjects be rounded up So the final GPA is being short.I have emailed many times to complain, and they see the issue but they do not want to change. That's why they have so many bad reviews on reddit and others.

Don't do it. I wish you read this before getting their service

I used Spantran back in 2022 they were responsive and I received my evaluation as promised, less than 10 days, and then mailed it to institutions a few days later. Now, in 2024 I requested physical and digital copies. On their website, they said it only takes 1-2 days to process excluding mailing. I only got an auto-receipt after paying. So, after 6 days of waiting, I emailed them and they said "it will be mailed shortly," which is false, that "shortly" was days ago now.
Even their website is "Domain Configuration Pending." Their Facebook is regularly updated. Wish they also put the same energy into responding to customer emails. Have I tried calling ALL their offices? I have! but their hotline is useless, unless you have the luxury of waiting for hours, you might get lucky and they might answer. I only have a 30-minute break every day, so emailing them is all I can do. Do I sound frustrated and worried like I am gonna lose my job and license application, and feel like I just wasted my hard earned money? Well of course I do!
I wish they are like Amazon where I can cancel my order so I can get a refund and use it on a more efficient and responsible evaluator. Thanks.

No one picks up the phone and you can…

No one picks up the phone and you can not speak with someone to find a solution for the problems you Mayo face. Find other service providers if you can. This company has no business being responsible for people's future-employment and college/university admission.

I had a great experience with SpanTran…

I had a great experience with SpanTran TEC, plus their services were more cost effective than the alternatives. I got my report in less than three days after my university sent a confirmation mail. None of the negative reviews I read online actually happened. I would recommend them any day and any time.

I believe those who are complimenting…

I believe those who are complimenting them are being paid to do so.
The worst evaluation company is Spantran.
Nobody should submit their transcript for evaluation to this inept and indolent firm. They merely take your money and give you meaningless things.

Your email is not even answered by them.
Unuseful people in useless company.

The worst

The worst, I am surprised reputable colleges and universities still use them which is the reason why they still get people to scam. They will lure you to pay as they give you a list of services they will render but then they trap you to pay more and more and more, but when you ask for a refund they will charge you a high fee for that too or they will ruin your credit. RUN... don't ever use them and report them to your university and college as well, it will save others from big loss and headache. I am a victim and I hope whoever read this will listen.
