I had a wonderful experience with Superprof Australia. The platform is user-friendly and provides access to a wide variety of tutors and subjects, catering to learners of all ages and levels. The detailed tutor profiles and the option to read reviews made it easy for me to choose the right tutor for my needs.

The messaging system and scheduling tools are efficient, making the whole process seamless. What I appreciate most is the flexibility—sessions can be tailored to your specific goals, whether academic or personal growth.

This company provides a website that is misleading at best. There is not mention of the student having to pay fees until the very end. Then when you try to find out what the fees are about, there is no information on the site. This is taking advantage of students! They claim the first lesson is free - then the tutor says it's not - false advertising! You have tutors connect who don't fit your criteria and then you get charged. Most of the tutors had no availability - so why are they even listed? DO NOT USE this site.

Like numerous others, see one star reviews, I believed I was paying for lessons but it turned out not to be the case. Please be very careful with this company. There are better, more transparent, options available.

Reminders and notifications from tutors are great as I am very forgetful.
I have met some lovely and professional tutors on this site for the cost of a very reasonable fee.
I am quite pleased with the process of finding a tutor.
I was under the impression there would not be a cost involved when becoming a tutor at this site, but in order to be more accessible to clients I need to pay a fee.I am a bit disappointed about that.

There is a fee of $ 99 to be paid yearly in order to be more accessible to clients.
I paid $ 69 (paid monthly), in order to have access to finding and contacting as many tutors as you like.

Misleading Expense & false

In order to connect to tutors and enquire about a lesson on our platform, you first need to have a Student Pass subscription.

The Student Pass is a monthly subscription that gives you access to the platform and allows you to contact teachers on our site and access their personal contact details.

It's mentioned on our payment page that the pass is a “monthly subscription�, “without commitment and charged only if a teacher accepts your request�, and that it gives “unlimited access to all teachers in all subjects�.

Great platform for tutors!

Very easy to use, a variety of subjects to choose from and the layout enables tutors to describe with precision what they offer. I use Superprof Australia to reach about 50% of my student market!

Scam

Scam, signed up for one tutorial at $60, they charged me $220 over two months without my consent, contacted them and was no recharge just told me that I need to read fine print which is not very clear.

Information about the student pass is accessible at any time in our legal notices as well as in our Help Centre.

We mention on our payment page that the pass is a “monthly subscription�, “without commitment and charged only if a teacher accepts your request�, and that it gives “unlimited access to all teachers in all subjects�.

At the time of your subscription, we also sent an email to remind you of how Superprof works in full. It specified that the subscription is automatically renewed every month until terminated by you.

To avoid the risk of forgetting, we send an email 5 days before the renewal of the subscription to remind members they can suspend their Student Pass in just two clicks.

Again, being a website, all of our communications are sent by email.
