Here're some qualities in an excellent insurance agent:
1. Honest with integrity
2. Communication: calls back or email as promised
3. Best deals: looks for best deals and give you options to choose from
4. Ongoing Relations: makes sure you're informed of changes, payment dates, etc
5. Friendly: a smile or courtesy or politeness or trust sure makes your experience rich

I'll give Matt at Surex 10/10 in all these 5 qualities.
I received quotes from RBC and other insurers that were good but the agents were terrible 😢
Try calling Matt... I'm sure you'll not be disappointed

When you pay for something, you primarily want customer service.

Personally the company has been good, but what keeps me is Patti .G, when I need her she calls back immediately, and she truly cares.

I’ve shared great conversations and wouldn’t hesitate to send any of my family and freinds to her for the absolute best service in the industry.

Keep her at any cost because she’s a rockstar. Her callback rate must be 100% 🥂

No opinion one way or another. Insurance is too expensive and too complicated. You no more than any other, no problems with Surex, know that I wouldn't have any insurance if I didn't have to. I don't feel at all secure that Economical would be there for me if I needed them. Just constantly hope I don't need you for anything except to satisfy legal requirements.

I’ve had an exceptional experience with Hussein Khalife as my advisor. He consistently goes above and beyond to meet his clients' needs, always ensuring every detail is addressed. I feel comfortable discussing my requirements, knowing he genuinely listens and provides the best solutions.

Sussex should be proud to have someone as dedicated as Hussein on their team. While the insurance can be expensive, the outstanding customer service more than makes up for it. All five stars go to Hussein Khalife for his professionalism and commitment to excellence. Highly recommend!

It was pretty straight forward

Old insurance charging me too much, new insurance saves me money, can't get more simple that that, happy with the service from Natasha as they were accomodating to contact me during my break so we could handle the usual questions. Happy customer. :)

Heres your feedback

I got an email asking to write this review. Ask and you shall receive. I have had insurance through surex since I bought my car in early 2019. I never had any issues and the first broker I dealt with was very understanding and did everything he could to help my situation. He left the company to go sell home insurance and I was assigned another broker. I never had any reason to contact my broker for a couple years and then my car was damaged in a hail storm. I contacted the person who’s information was on my surex account. Turns out she was no longer there and my account was never updated. They assigned another broker to my account and I spoke with him about the claims process and what I should expect. He was very helpful. Then I start dealing with wawanesa directly during the claims process. Wawanesa then screwed me around and delayed my claim for 5 months. My insurance is up for renewal in February so I contact the broker at surex and inform him that I don’t want to do business with wawanesa anymore because they are nothing but scammers. He then uses chatgpt to reply to my email basically telling me to eat crap because wawanesa holds a monopoly over insurance coverage in Alberta apparently. At this point I am not even sure what the brokers job is because they do not seem to do anything. He refused to do his job and find me quotes from other companies so I have no choice but to ditch the broker and find my own coverage. If they are going to stand by and be complicit in me being robbed then they are no better than wawanesa.

Found these guys by luck . They got me a great rate compared to my old coverage. Similar coverage and 20% more affordable based on my stellar driving record of course! They check in regularly to see if the coverage is still relevant. Happy I found these folks. Keep up the good work!
