Worst experience ever. After 2.5months waiting for them to install two simple cabinets (I wonder how long a whole kitchen would take…) they forgot to order any shelves. I now have a 2m tall cabinet with no shelves - completely useless. When I asked to please prioritise the shelves, they said it’s not in the control (why??) and that they “hope” it doesn’t take 2.5months again. In total, almost 5 months for two new extra cabinets. Terrible customer service attention. Never again! I’m happy I didn’t order a whole kitchen from them!

I design my kitchen with an employee of Tulp. Was really happy with his communication, design and experience. After he left for a new job I got a new contact from Tulp. Many thing gone wrong. Communication, design, price, measurement. They did several mistake and did not accept them even if they are on paper (e.g. work top is 65 cm on paper but they are going to deliver 60 cm).
Really unhappy with it. Tried several way to reach out to them - Visited the shop, call, email. The person is never available for a 15000 Euro kitchen!
I don't trust them anymore and never refer them to anyone else.

Stay away from them to save some time. If you decide to talk to them you may have to record your conversation or get everything in writing. If you dont know the expression "van het kastje naar de muur" you will experience it first hand with them.
The reason for my low rating is as follows:
1. The sales person from Tulp Keuken rotterdam lied to us multiple times during the sales converstion and also as part of cancellation process. I was also misled into signing a purchase agreement.
2. The next day when my wife spoke to the sales advisor we became aware that the verbal agreements will not be considered, so we decided to cancel and informed him about the same.
3. As soon as we decided to cancel, they became very unresponsive and it took close to 2 months with multiple followup emails to get this to closure. They dont respond back for weeks together. They totally ignore your emails. When I sent them an email stating if you dont reply i consider the contract closed then we get a prompt response redirecting to a different team or person.
Phew!! what a waste of my time! I wish i had read some of the reviews before hand, I could saved some time and money by avoiding talking to them.
Hence my 1 star. If it was possible I would have given -ve star.
My personal advice for people is not to purchase a kitchen with Tulp Keuken as it is too tricky to have everything on paper and verbal agreement has no value with them. Once you sign the agreement, I feel their main goal is to get as much money as possible from you.
I was lucky enough to figure this out in the first day hence was able to close this with minimal cost.
Its important for a person or company to do business fairly and ethically. If not they do not deserve your business.
Response to reply from Tulp: Your head office contacted us after a month! this was only after I mentioned i consider my contract closed. I decided to pay 2.5% and not go to court as it saves me time. I still lost 2.5% of my purchase price. Even in the cancellation I have an email where your sales agent was trying to overcharge extra!! Luckily we figured it out.

Nightmare continues: Vol.2
I couldn't write a reply on my previous review which was repsonded by Tulp Keukens so I have had to write a new one.
Guess what?
Your team came on April 28th, without knowing that the closet for the hood was taken with one of your employees and I am still waiting for a hood 😊
Honestly I am not surprised at all cause I guess the biggest mistake or missing point in your organization is the lack of communication between the departments.
But certainly one of the worst cases I have ever seen. I think Tulp Keukens certainly need a professional help for this.
Anyway, I asked you to let me know which hood to be placed on my kitchen and asked you to investigate alternatives instead of NEFF30. Second time you are not keeping your promise!
Apart from that on that day, guys fixed the alignment issues and noticed that some of the items needed to be reordered.
Since onwards, and again 1 full week of waiting I haven’t heard anything from them or from you what would be the next step and when would that really happen.
In overall case, how it seems from my pojt of view that I made a total payment of 18.500 EUR for almost 2 months ago for this kitchen and the materials and services are certainly defective so far and I still don’t have a hood on top of my cooking plate which also reduces my quality of life at home.
I hope to be responded at least within this month and hope to have your service team back before the end of this year if you can manage to do so!
I hope your director Mr. Erik Rijerkerk is also reading this e-mail and he can take some serious steps to increase the way and the efficiency of the communication in the organization.
Good luck on both cases.
Best Regards.

I recommend everyone to go to Tulp Keukens in Son (opposite to Ikea Son) and have a talk with Ruud Vaes. I got a good advice from Ruud for my kitchen. He listened to my needs and concerns. Also, he can speak English very well. So far my experience is surprisingly great.
During the installation, one of the boards was found out to be broken (small dent). After the discussion with the assembler, I was promised that Tulp will fix it and place new board. However, this is still on progress so I still don't know the outcome of this.
Furthermore, the kitchen is fairly new and I never use it. So I cannot judge the quality right now.

We ordered our kitchen in the Amsterdam showroom in March. It is now September, 26 weeks / half a year after the kitchen was ordered, and we still don't have our kitchen which we paid for in full on the original install day, June 8th, per Tulp's requirements.
Our kitchen cabinets arrived on June 8th as scheduled, however, they were the wrong color (brown instead of green) and half our cabinets were broken. It is clear there is no quality control or checks and balances with this company prior to delivery.
Tulp left the broken cabinets in our house despite our safety concerns and us asking for them to be removed due to the children and animals present. Tulp assured us the cabinets were left safely, refusing to remove them despite or many requests via phone and email. Unfortunately, these cabinets were not safe and fell, injuring someone. When we informed Tulp of this, they took no responsibility.
During all of this, we were told our new cabinets would be expedited and prioritized however, 13 weeks later (longer than it took to build the first round of cabinets) and we still do not have what we paid for. We received an email from Tulp, 2 days before our second round of cabinets were to be installed, informing us that these cabinets were also damaged!!
Dealing with their "customer service" team has been a complete nightmare as well. It is very difficult to get someone on the phone and you have to send multiple emails to get a response. I am a freelancer and have lost many hours of work dealing with their team. When we asked for suitable compensation for all of the issues, we were told the best they could do was 250 EUR credit (which equates to to less than 1% of of the total cost of the kitchen) and that they were "not obliged" to give us any sort of compensation.
Needless to say, if you value your time, quality cabinets/craftsmanship and good customer service, RUN away from Tulp Keukens. There are many other kitchen companies and we truly regret our decision to use Tulp.
I received a response on Google to my review stating someone would look into this and to reach out to the support email address provided in the review response, which I did, however this is not a working email address so it did not help the situation.

We ordered a kitchen in the Amsterdam store. Everything OK, except when we got the kitchen delivered. We didn't get the products we ordered and they simply refuse to fix it. Don't return calls, refuse clear "evidence" on email....it's really dramatic.

Stay away from this company! What an appalling quality of work of their advisors: namely, Nabahat, who ignored our request to equip our new kitchen with the same appliances as in the previous project. And of course they delivered wrong 2 appliances.
Apart from that, they handled this situation in a totally non-customer-oriented way. They insisted that we should have checked model numbers of the appliances before signing the offer. When paying 30K EUR for a kitchen, in their opinion, customers are expected to go online and verify model numbers themselves!
A rip-off solution was offered (replacement of 1 of the wrong appliances at a basically wholesale price of the new one).
There are many other companies specialising on expensive kitchen projects. Choose any but this! They do not acknowledge their mistakes, deliver awful customer service and treat their returning clients (that was our 3rd kitchen with them) badly.

We ordered a full kitchen, with appliances and installation. We were in the middle of building an extension to accommodate part of the new kitchen. The team decided early on to create a template for part of the kitchen worktop to ensure it fit. We had a thick marine plywood worktop installed temporarily, and 8 weeks later, a perfectly fitting granite composite worktop arrived and effortlessly slotted in to place. At no extra cost, the installers drilled through the splashback for us to mount power points directly. There was an under cupboard light missing with the original order, but this was dealt with (with no hassle for us) and was delivered and installed along with the worktop. All of the installers were highly professional, polite and accommodating. The staff in store were knowledgeable, thorough and very helpful, and the customer service staff were knowledgeable and accommodating, helping us to adjust the delivery time to suit the progress of the building work. All in all, a great, hassle-free experience.

Bart gave very good support and proposals regarding the kitchen, he was advising on all the details patiently, and was professional and pleasant to work with.
Now I hope the final product will also be good as we planned :)
Thanks.
