Good company and super fast payment. They were trying to be a little cheeky by reducing the amount first stated to be given to me for my phone but I refused their offer and then they increased their offer to closer to the original offer, after I twice refused it. Overall really happy with the company and they want the dealt with the same.

I did an online sale of my iPhone with this company on 31.12.2024. Emailed them after a week as I had received no further contact from them, no response. After another week I rang them and was advised that the returns package would be sent out next day delivery. Another week later I sent another email, still waiting for a response or a package. It鈥檚 now almost a month later and still nothing. Save your time and effort and go elsewhere!

First of all, they kept the price promise.
I was anxious if they would come up with any reason to knock down few quids from the price promised, but happy to say they paid the exact amount advertised.
It took me more than 2 weeks to get the whole thing done. They didn't get keep the same day promise. I got in touch with the customer support and I got a response from them after trying to rech few times, that they still have a backlog of items received and are trying to clear them quickly.
My phone was delivered the next day aftef I posted it. They acknowledged the receipt in about a week. And then it took almost another week for them to do the inspection. But I got paid the very next day aftef I was informed that my phone passed all the checks.

Avoid this company at all costs they claim they have paid me on the 29th November 2024 but it was never received. They claim I entered my bank account number incorrectly and then claim there is nothing they can do. If you look at reviews I鈥檓 not the only person this has happened to. 拢440 stolen off me

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS AVOID
Like so many other reviews, I sent off my phone, as was offered 拢100 for it (CEX offered 拢80). It took 2 weeks for ur to write back to offer a revised amount of 拢45 as battery was only at 80% and charge cycles was above 500. Scratches found on case (there were none!).
Offer rejected, awaiting phone return.
Just take it to CEX and get a deal done over the counter...ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS AVOID

UR gave me the best quote to purchase my iPhone 14 Plus and after looking up their customer reviews and their 1-2 day process highlighted on their website I chose them.
However after a 10days and no status update from them (I had postal proof they received my phone) I tried ringing their Customer Service line all to no avail.
I then chased UR up through a email as I was getting concerned, I finally then received confirmation they had my phone and it had to be tested and validated (which I accepted was the process).
This process took 5 working days to complete then finally I had confirmation the phone had passed and I received the money they quoted.
So from posting my phone to receiving the money took 3 weeks - I was advised they had staff shortages however this does not excuse the process time.
In summary by far the best quote for my phone but be prepared for a 3 week turnaround not the 1-2 days they claim on their website.

I ordered and paid for a Midnight ( black) 256GB refurbished iPhone. UR sent me a WHITE 128GB refurbished iPhone. They kindly sent me 拢20 to compensate me for the wrong colour. I鈥檓 waiting for their response to my further complaint, just made as I鈥檝e only just transferred my data, that I鈥檓 missing half the GB I paid for. Unbelievably poor service from UR!

As others have said, they are disingenuous with trying to reduce your offer massively. The quoted me 拢141 based on my correct report of phone condition then tried to reduce it to 拢51 for spurious reasons. I decline and they increased to 拢71. I declined again and said backmarket had offered 拢91 which I was confident of getting, so they matched that.

I sent my Iphone 12 128gb, fully boxed no marks, however the battery was at 80% life so could have been changed. they quoted 拢200 for it, sent it in and they offered me 拢82, due to the battery and 'Scratches' which the phones been in case and screen protected its whole life. The valuation was insulting. I suspect, even if i had have changed the battery they would have marked it down with some other mythical excuse. If you want a decent amount for your iPhone, please do not use this company, sell it private.. I saw the reviews and stupidly ignored them. I will never use this company again and urge anyone that does consider them to please heed the warnings from the many reviews on this site (and make note the positive reviews are from other services this company offers).

*NOTE: This review replaces my previous post as it now includes an update. If you're considering selling an old phone to UR, please read on.*
Via the Money Saving Expert website, I accessed a generous quote (拢138) from UR on an old iphone. So I sent it to UR. They then emailed me saying:
"The screen has visible marks. It has deep scratches in more than one place. As a result we have amended our Valuation to 拢55.00 that reflects the cost to carry out the work on your old device so it can be given another life."
This isn't true. The phone is in excellent condition. So, using their online service, I rejected the offer and requested they return the phone. They then revised their offer to 拢75. I rejected it and requested the phone's return again. I then emailed them twice and heard nothing back. I also called: no answer.
I was very worried that UR:
a) had disappeared - taking the phone with them
b) would underhandedly try to circumvent my requests by, for example, saying they've returned the phone (when they haven't) or - if they're particularly vicious - gouge deep scratches in the screen, then return it to me (thus fitting with the false assessment they provided).
Perhaps unsurprisingly, UR almost immediately replied to my email and said they were returning the phone (It's amazing the prompt replies you receive after posting a negative review).
I received the phone today. As suspected, it seems someone at UR has applied scratches to the screen that weren't there previously. The scratches aren't deep or overdone to arouse immediate suspicion. But considering the phone had a screen protector (which I removed just before putting in the envelop and sending) and was in excellent condition, it is obvious to me that UR have tried to cover themselves by applying the scratches. I'm gobsmacked at their audacity.
If you do decide to sell a phone to UR, please do one thing: take lots of clear photos of your phone, so you can verify its condition later. Then, if and when UR apply scratches and damage to justify their drop in the money they'll pay you, you have proof to negate their claims.

Took a month to finally give me an offer.
Offered 1/3rd of the original offer because it had too many 'charge cycles'. A quick site search suggests the phrase 'charge cycles' is used once on the site, and only on the buying page - not mentioned in selling process.
Don't waste your time and don't ignore the bad reviews like I did.

I received a quote for recycling a mobile and got a quote from ur.co.uk for 拢133 for a Pixel 6Pro. They stated that it would take aprox 3 days to progress. After two weeks, they suddenly came back and stated that the phone was damaged and only offered 拢20. The phone was NOT damaged at all when it was sent. A picture i took prior to despatch proves this. Totally unacceptable and verging on fraud. I refused their offer and await return of my phone, which if received back damaged will result in legal action.
