Sadly this policy is not worth the money. They only cover £50 labour and no mechanic on this island charges close to that, therefore the product is not fit-for-purpose. Shame that. It is also not made visible when you take out the policy, so you think you are covered. You would then have to pay in every time you get something done. Additionally, there are many things that they don't cover, for example electric items.. why? Best save the money in an interest-bearing account and use it when you need it.
Companies on Trustpilot can’t offer incentives or pay to hide any reviews.

I didn't have AA warranty. I had a different cover, but after requesting recovery to a garage the decided to take over the repairs without ever asking and have held me and my car hostage ever since. They don't answer or respond to calls and when going through another section of the AA I still get fobbed off at every turn. These people are not fit for purpose at all and should be ashamed of themselves a total disgrace at every level. DO NOT USE THE AA at all. There are better options out there where they don't try and rip you off and steal your property. My issue has been going on since the 6th of December and we're now on the 18th and still not even close to any kind of resolution!!!!!
Given a 3 only because I haven’t used them lol so I have no idea what they are like but I must find out if I still have it or not lol
One or the worst, ever JUST DONT BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY. The biggest scam ever , everything is all good when they take your money , until you need their help , then they start telling you about claims,
You have to search for their trusted garages your self they don’t help you ,
It’s not even AA you speak to various other companies
Then they will tell you anything but help pay they will find any excuse to not pay you .
Not matter what you say , their will do what ever it takes to blame you.
I was very disappointed by the AA an please save your save your money and disappoint,
DONT BOTHER AT ALLL !!!!!

Knowledge is power
‘WAS’ interested in buying a car from an independant dealership circa the £10.000 bracket. All their cars have initial AA warranties with the option of extending. Checking backgrounds and all matters relating to a potential purchase I won’t be buying a car from the dealership solely on their choice of warranty options. AA warranties are an exclusion policy (NOT an inclusive one). I’ve checked not only feedback reviews from this site but a host of others. The general feedback can be categorised in to the following.
1. Car dealerships - give good feedback as they take their percentage from selling the warranty.
2. Some customers leave positive feedback which isn’t relative to the product ie: the sales pitch & not making a claim on the policy.
3. The customer - there is an unacceptable percentage of feedback that relates to claim avoidance (either partial or whole) and what appears to be a faceless, corporate and concerted effort to make claims difficult & obstructive to the client. It also appears from reading and researching cases that when a car is submitted for repair, the garages and technicians used are ‘the cheapest’ the warranty providers can find (not the best qualified or approved). So basically your car could end up at some dodgy back street garage being bodged up by Mr. Scarper & crew.
So - on that amount of research and findings - an AA warranty is not something I wish to purchase - PLUS my trust in forecourts that use such warranties has drastically diminished.
Thankyou for reading my review and hope that this information informs any further decisions you make about any future purchases you make.

So bad warranty keep refused to…
So bad warranty keep refused to authorise a claim when i called them if my part is covered they're saying it is and ask for proof from garage i did all this. I have paid £45 for computer scanning service to read the fauld code its come as Egr fault and price for fix promlem £1200 now they saying is not good enough and i have to pay almost £500 to strip the part and than they will decide if they cover cost but unfortunately egr is not fail on broke part is cover of carbon and they not cover all that. But engine management light is on dash. They just take money off you when you buy policy and than they'll be useless for any claim. I did rang them to make sure that part is covered before i will spend my money to vat garage for diagnostic and than when you proof part not working correctly they just refuse to cover cost. Worst warranty i ever had in my life

Why is the one star reviews more than 5 star reviews and also noticed that the 5 star reviews were never about any claims but just for customer service people recevied. Makes you wonder whether the 5 star reviews were given by their own employees!!!! AA warranty like others need to start providing better service as the number of unsatisfied customer are only growing. The lame excuses provided by their bot in response is not good enough. The saying goes there is no smoke with fire. AA, COME ON start providing better service.

Purchased a vehicle with a 6 months AA warranty(£3000 claim limit) after a few months the car developed a overheating problem( diagnosed as a blown head gasket) contact the AA and submitted the garage quote, they came back saying they would only cover £1127 of the claim, the total bill was £2915.20 ( head skimming and pressure test is around £700) so that leaves £400 for labour and gaskets and consumables come on AA, wake up and stop ripping people off, still waiting for my call

Give me a break.
The Company can attempt to understand that the test of a warranty is when you come to make a claim. I have not made a claim but one whole day after buying the car that came with the warranty I get asked for a review and then reminded. It's like a waiter taking your order then immediately asking "How was your meal?".
Then when the AA consider the review, their response is corporate waffle.

Cracked sump
I bought a Corsa from Ghost Motors, with 3 month AA warranty.
Car was diagnosed needing new timing chain and work was carried out at Northwest Performance Navigation Road, Northwich.
It took 8 months till car was returned.
Car was returned with a massive oil leak, we took it back but were told there is no leak - clearly was the case as my driveway is dissolving due to oil ingress.
Car still having a very load tapping, so we got a friend to look at it, to find the issue was not the timing chain, but 3 tappets broken and loose, we were also shown that the sump was cracked, hence the large oil leak.
This was definitely not the case prior to the 8 month saga.
