Had an amazing service this evening as Beddington lane Swait managed to persevere with the bakery printer and get my design cakes sorted for me. Thank you so much to her and the manager.

Ordered same day online order £8.99 as I had poorly child and needed some bits in!
Told I couldn’t hand back items to the driver even though 2 of the substitutes were nowhere near similar to the item I ordered!
None of my fresh produce was delivered, missing completely, equating to over £24 in errors in total and they have rejected my refund!
Absolutely disgusting I’m meant to pay for missing items that I’ve then had to ask a family member to go out and purchase for me.
Will not be using them again no matter how desperate!
Unbelievably bad customer service at all stores, just ordered logs online as its cold, booked, paid for, and now just been informed on delivery that 90% of the order is out of stock, buty when I booked it was in stock. Utter JOKE! Won't be shopping at ASDA anymore.,
This ASDA manager -James Day in ASDA Strelley Nottingham can get away with anything. He told me he will not do anything about my complaint and even if I call customer service, they will send it back to him anyway.
Indeed it’s been a while and no customer service personal has contacted me about my complaints.
Please be warned about ASDA Strelley manager-James Day.
I bought a heated throw before Xmas…
I bought a heated throw before Xmas this failed end of January, I returned it to Asda who replaced it with another throw which did not work, I returned it for a third throw , this time , when I got it home it smelt bad , had food on it and didn’t work , took this one back , Asda explained they don’t check returns if a customer says item is working they pop it back out for sale !! Utterly disgusting. Took this back got a new one off the shelf it was dearer than the one I’d bought as mine was in the sale, I was asked to pay extra , I decided to get my money back as I had no guarantee that this 4th throw would even work ,having wasted many hours and lots of petrol back and forth to Asda I went to Tesco and bought one £10 cheaper . Absolutely joke save yourself the time and inconvenience.

Asda are apalling at customer service
Asda are apalling at customer service, they send out faulty or damaged goods from an online order and then customer service state you will get a refund and the the next thing that arrives is a generic email denying your claim, so you call again and they say again you will get a refund and then another email arrives telling you to make another order or go to the shop. So you are expected to waste your time and petrol cost to go to the shop or you have to pay for another delivery just to get their faulty item refunded. What a joke for online ordering. We rang customer service 3 times with the promise of a refund and received the same generic email 3 times. Then I responded to these emails and they stopped responding to me. Its criminal to be honest, breach of distance selling rules and I really wonder how the CEO of ASDA pay themself quite honestly for such poor customer service and a generic criminal service. I suppose that is why ALDI etc are taking the market share from them. Wake up ASDA and sort yourselves out.

Frustrating shopping at times at ASDA
Frustrating shopping at times at ASDA. Bought baby food at ASDA Heath Town , Wolverhampton, mistakenly took the wrong flavour for my baby. I went back to the store after a few minutes to exchange the baby food which was still intact but they refused to exchange the food to the flavour I want and that they cannot refund me also. They said it's a company policy. I have to leave the food at the counter for them because taking it home won't solve any problem because my baby won't eat it. It's a lost on my part ( time and money). Very poor company policy. Why didn't they write it on the food container that it can't be exchanged or get a refund after buying?

Refusing to refund an undelivered order - unbelievably rude customer service
On the 6th of January my home delivery was accidently ordered to my old address (my fault). Driver rang and said nobody is in. We agreed to cancel the delivery and crate a new one for the same day, and I was informed that a refund would be processed for the cancelled order.
We paid for and received the new order, expecting the refund to take place for the original order soon.
Asda, to this day, are refusing to pay me for the cancelled order, which I must add, amounts to over £70. AFTER THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE REFUNDED. The customer service assistants by email have been arguing with me, telling me that the delivery has been made twice on the 6th of January however I knew that the first one didn't arrive, as the driver literally rang me and left me his number for redelivery.
Unbelievable.

I’ll never shop online with them again!
Customer service is literally the worst. Uncaring, unhelpful and unprofessional.
I recently had an order delivered and items were broken. Bits of glass. It’s was ruined. I phoned up, very unhelpful person who wanted photo proof, gave me an evoucher even though I said I don’t want to use online shopping again. It was so bad that I will never use Asda online again. The grief isn’t worth it!

Terrible Continual Click and Collect Service
Love the George products at Asda. My local South Ruislip store doesn’t sell all the lines so I have been ordering products online for click and collect. What a disaster, non recent of products they never arrive. Return items and have to chase for refund d. Pay for next day delivery by post and products don’t arrive. Order items that are fragile they arrive broken due to no fragile labels on boxes and insufficient wrapping. Once or twice you think ok maybe there was a problem but when it keeps happening it’s ridiculous. Speak to staff at store they dont want to know. Customer services when you ring yo resolve problems which seems to be continually are great at dealing with/ resolving queries but it basic things that shouldn’t be happening! Don’t have these issues with M and S and other companies. Seriously they need to get the company logistics resolved and give a better customer service!

I purchased your beef dripping skin on chips, very excited to eat them on a Monday evening after a very hard day at work well all I can say is I am very disheartened how you can even have beef dripping in the title is an insult. Worse chips ever left my feeling hungry and very unsatisfied. DO NOT BUY them. Unless you’re already full.

I returned an item of clothing at asda Byker - the young girl who served me at the customer service desk (Hannah) was full of attitude towards me and this was the second time! When all was done, she couldn’t be bothered to hand the receipt to me kindly but rudely placed it on the counter although I had put my hand out to receive it which I found to be rude! I didn’t like the way she spoke to me the first time with arrogance and a lot of attitude. Customer Service needs people who can treat /serve customers with respect and dignity.

Asda Myrekirk Road Dundee
Asda Myrekirk Road Dundee. Sunday 2nd February 2025 between 12 and 1pm. I stopped on my way home from Glencarse to Forfar. Purchased two boxes of wine. Went to self service check out and waited a good few minutes for it to be authorised by a staff member who quipped “ got here just in time “ I told her I’d been waiting for some time and she said she was sorry about that. I paid cash three £10 notes and left. Outside the door a young guy staff member followed me and asked if I’d been to the self serve and I said yes. He then said that my payment hadn’t gone through. I told him I’d paid cash, he had a headset on so was listening to someone in the store. Then he apologised. I was furious, I’d waited long enough to get it authorised and paid cash, now being basically accused of shoplifting. His face went bright red and as I looked back to the store I saw through the window that woman who’d authorised my purchase and I asked if it was her who had sent him out after me. He didn’t admit it, but I knew it. Obviously because I was annoyed at the wait, though I did comment I was in no way offensive. I told him to look at the cameras, I put three £10 notes in for the two boxes £15 each. He continued to apologise and I told him I was disgusted. There were other people outside listening and seeing this. I Will Not go back to that store ever again. I have a local Asda where I live and I’m contemplating boycotting that too. Tesco is my favourite and fortunately I have them and other supermarkets here to choose from. Asda is the bottom end anyway, seems to attract undesirables, their staff aren’t much better either.

Always out of stock
A week ago there was no semi-skimmed milk, today no brown bread that I usually buy, no pineapple cottage cheese, no Sheldon baps that I usually buy and no sweet potatoes.
How can they consistently get it so wrong on stock levels?
If there's a supply issue, change supplier, if there's a delivery issue, change who you use and when customers come up to staff members asking why an item isn't in stock, note it down and immediately send it to your Buyer.
It's really not difficult and it is every single week
It is ALWAYS the same.
They've also changed their Asda rewards app so that you no longer get star products and you have to spend £100 in order to get 50p added to your cash pot and then you only have 4 weekly shopping trips to collect 7 milestones but you'll need to spend hundreds of pounds to even hit them.
What?
Stingy or what
Sort yourself out Asda

ASDA Melksham disgusting fresh food and ASDA Customer Service useless.
ASDA Melksham need to vastly improve the extremely poor quality of their reduced fresh fruit and vegetables and cooked products. For example rotten bananas still on sale. Made a mistake of buying reduced chips from the hot food counter that were disgusting and made me sick. Never again. ASDA Customer Service didn't want to log a complaint until I persisted. They sent a meaningless half interested response with a complaint reference and won't follow up or reply to prompts. Some of this reduced food is a pubic health risk. Check the quality of fresh and cooked products carefully.

Awful place, unless you want to end it all quickly!
The water pills I need were £6, but 3 for 2 meant £12 for 3 packs. They rose to £8 (£16 for 3) recently (33% inflation), but today the 3 for 2 offer is cancelled, so 3 packs are now £8 x 3 = £24: a 100% rise in just two years?! Also pot noodles up 50% since last week and dried fruit up 60% since Friday! The cooked food counter is now closed, and there's (as usual) nobody on the tills! Dreadful experience. Don't go there!!!
