I recently had to make a claim with cycleGuard for my stolen bike, and I must say their service exceeded my expectations. The process was simple and efficient, with quick responses to my emails. Jamie was exceptionally helpful, guiding me through each step with clarity and support. Though I had to pay a £50 excess for my replacement EBIKE, the payout was handled promptly. The personal care and attention from the team, particularly Adam, made the entire experience far better than I anticipated. I highly recommend cycleGuard for their excellent service!

Had a great experience with Sharon with my claim. Living in London can be stressful especially when owning a valuable bike that you commute to work with. My one got stolen and Sharon was really helpful and made sure my claim was handled with assurance. Great team and customer service on the telephone as well. I was given clear information and instructions on my claim. Can't thank the team enough for the support and piece of mind they give to me. Appreciate all the teams help :)

I recently had to make a claim with cycleGuard for my stolen bike, and I must say their service exceeded my expectations. The process was simple and efficient, with quick responses to my emails. Don’t forget with cycleguard

Don’t forget with cycleguard. 10 years I been with them and they had best part of 10k out of me. They wouldn’t pay out I am not the only person this as happen too. My bike was accident broken even tho my policy was for Accidental damage. I never go with them again and I tell everyone I know not too. In all the insurance companies I been with over my life time they are the worse I have ever had.

Look elsewhere!!

It has taken 2 months for this company to decide to pay out for two bikes stolen from my ex Mrs garage. Every time you send an email or proof as to what got stolen, they then have 5 days to reply to the email. Sometimes this took longer.

Trying to obtain the money to replace the bikes, well, that's another story. My sons bikes cost 550 each 3 years ago. The bikes are now 100 pounds each more expensive. They asked for a quote to be able to process the claim. That was supplied, together with the locks which they stipulated in their email. The full quote was around 1450 which I provided with the full costs itemised. I then received an email 8 days later to say they had paid 1100, less my 50 pounds excess, 350 less than the quote.

I am totally not happy with this company, and I be looking for alternatives in the future.

Update....

I have cancelled my policy with this company. After explaining to them that I felt like I was being made out as a criminal, and didn't like the way they only paid some of the claim, all they could say was sorry. The also told me to check each year with the cycle shop as to whether the bike would cost more or less to replace. SHOCKING.......WHO WOULD ACTUALLY DO THAT YEARLY????

Longstanding happy customer

I have used used Cycleguard for many years & interactions regards both policy amendments and the one time I had to make a claim were dealt with in a very efficient business like manner. I had two bikes stolen from my garage a number of years ago & the claim was literally settled in a couple of days.

No way to update my direct debit details

So apparently there is no way for me to update the bank account the direct debit is taking the money from. So in a few days I guess the direct debit will just fail, and then I'll get to hear from them. Not sure how to call them either, and there is no 24/7 chat I can see.
This could have taken 1 minute with another insurance, but here we are.

Horrible experiance now when my…

Horrible experiance now when my contract came to end i wanted cancel their phone goes to voicemail for a week , they dont reply to email qnd i can not log into their website and it glitches also would not send me a link to email to log in so no way of canceling i got a email thanks for renewing contract with us , no i didnot wanted to renew it !!!...so watch out ....they will make it hard for you to cancel it even now they wont reply
