Terrible customer service! Stay away from this company. Website has gone down twice now with no warning or notification. No changes made to it, just suddenly stopped working. Attempts to get it restored from backups (which should be very easy) have turned into a nightmare. If you LOVE having to rebuilt sites from scratch & AWFUL service, then choose Digital Pacific.

I was a loyal customer for 15 years
I was a loyal customer for 15 years. This is now NOT an australian owned company and they do not care at all about their customers and their customer service is now terrible.
I spent 4 hours today trying to get assistance and was totally given the run-around and given conflicting information. I strongly recommend you do not trust this company with domain name registration or hosting.

Getting spam from DP...
Not happy getting multiple emails per day from digital pacific urging me to renew my domain name which is NOT with them. Edit: They say it's scammers impersonating them - perhaps they should be checking their mail setup inc SPF, DKIM and DMARC DNS records... Have taken it up to 3 stars instead of 1 as spammers are evil and may indeed be out of their control, maybe, maybe not.

Who can you REALLY trust with your Domain...?
I've been a very happy customer of Digital Pacific since 2009 and I must say, it's all been a bit boring... but in the best possible way! The last thing you want from your domain host, is drama. Digital Pacific is one of the relatively rare products/services I use, which "just works". In all the years I've been with them, I've never really used their excellent support for anything other than general or configuration related questions. The services I've used have been rock solid and reliable the whole time.
Only once have I ever had an issue... a really serious issue... where there was a block placed on my domain by the domain registrar which was preventing it from being renewed. Losing my domain would have caused untold disruption and damage. The more you think about how deeply integrated your domain is to your work and personal life, the more terrifying this possibility of losing it becomes. It was a VERY stressful week but the Digital Pacific domain support crew were fabulous. They worked through the process with me and collaborated closely with the domain registrar to help get everything over the line.
Your domain is the core of your business dealings as well as the digital identity of your business and your personal life. You really need to take great care in selecting a service provider who takes this stuff as seriously as you "should" be!
I don't speak for everyone, but Digital Pacific have proven themselves to me in the most grueling and stressful of circumstances, and they have this customer for life.

If your thinking of signing up don't. Servers are barely working, error messages everywhere. Trying to get them to set up email correctly (SPF, DKIM, RDNS etc) is impossible. We expected much more but they don't seem to care!

Exceptional customer service by Rolando. Our domain didn't renew automatically as the stored credit card has expired. He walked me through the process of paying the invoices and adding the new card into the system as I was a bit lost when I logged into the wrong account. Rolando was patient and explained everything in detail.
