Morgan Clark took what could have been a very stressful situation (a car drove into one of my rental properties,) and made is as seamless and stress-free as possible. I was very happy with the settlement that got for me.
After our home was flooded over a year ago, our insurer and their loss adjuster seemed motivated by their own best interests, not ours. When Morgan Clark's Taunton team agreed to manage our claim a lot of the stress of the situation fell away. Not only did they have in depth expert knowledge of the processes by which large claims progress, but they were able to very patiently explain everything to us. Their responses to our emailed queries were always reassuringly prompt.
Morgan Clark appointed a surveyor to manage the strip-out and reinstatement works, and were instrumental in getting a contents removal, storage and drying company appointed when firms put forward by the loss adjuster either failed to show up or did not respond until weeks later. One of the team explained that attempting to manage our own claim without a loss assessor would be like going to court without representation by a barrister. We wholeheartedly agree!
We have found the Taunton team very pleasant to deal with throughout. They have been the silver lining to our cloud!

From the start of the process working with Sunny, Ryan and Beverley has been a delight. They kept me more than informed with progress, processed back office task diligently. A Huge special shout out to Ryan who has handled multiple claims on my behalf who continually perseveres and is relentless to obtain what is fair from the insurers, and is vital conduit between surveyors and contractors (who were equally very easy to work with and were meticulous with their fit and finish).

I will never make a insurance claim by myself
I had a huge problem with a claim I have made on my insurance company covering building insurance. After 7 months of calls and stress, a quick google search solved the problem. I discovered Morgan Clark.
I contacted them straight away and got in touch with one of their advisors, a Mr Karl Brind. We went through everything together and even though they couldn’t take the case on because it was too small, he still helped me out and thanks his professional advice, I finally solved the issue. What a great company and professional team, especially Karl who’s knowledge and expertise was outstanding.
If I ever need to do a claim again I would not even hesitate to contact him immediately.

Morgan Clark - don’t hesitate to appoint them for insurance claims
Can’t praise the team at Morgan Clark highly enough. Initially we met Dan who was so helpful the day after the fire when we were faced with a total loss & didn’t know where to turn. Our loss assessor Pino was with us from the beginning & always available to help & reassure us when we didn’t understand something, raised concerns or just wanted advice. The communication throughout the process was great & we felt like they cared which is so important. To lose your home & all your belongings in a house fire is the most devastating experience with emotions up & down but no matter what the question was they were always there to support which is invaluable. The whole process was aimed towards helping us & the contractor selected to do the work was incredible. Andrew is a small business but his company Scotia Joinery is a credit to him. He was faced with a huge amount of work from the start but he treated it like his own home & respected us throughout. The standard of the work is amazing, he uses the best contractors & that shows in the finished product. We wouldn’t have known where to start but the assurance of trusted tradesmen is all down to the great network that Morgan Clark use. They put the right people on the right project which shows their commitment to doing the very best for their clients. Major water leak in loft
While on holiday i hand a water leak in the loft which totally devastated my house from top to bottom.
Obviously the size of the claim was quite substantial and the rebuild would be quite a long process.
The loss adjusters appointed by my insurance company were not the best so i decided to appoint Morgan Clark to handle the claim.
I am so glad i did as this took the stress and time out of dealing with the claim. They handled the appointing of surveyors and contractors which made things easier as finding decent contractors is a bit of a lottery these days.
My loss assessor Ryan Field was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process and was always happy to talk to me about any queries i had and was always chasing the loss adjusters as they were not the fastest at responding to our issues. He made sure i got a fair amount for my contents claim and other bills i would not have thought about.
If you have a large claim let the professionals handle it for you - ie Morgan Clark.

The service provided by Morgan Clarke was second to none
We had a house fire in February 2023 which is right up there as possibly one of the worst things that can happen to you and your family when your home and security is taken away from you and damaged by a fire.
I was out of my mind not knowing what was going to happen, not knowing if my insurance policy had the right level of cover and quite frankly my confidence with my insurance company was rock bottom. I'd contacted them at 17:30 on a Friday evening to let them know my house was on fire and they responded by asking me to call back the following Monday because my call was classed as 'out of hours' and there was nothing they could do to help until then. We had no where to stay, our family home was destroyed by fire and all they could do was ask me to call back the following Monday.
Luckily for us a representative from Morgan Clarke contacted us the following day to offer advice and assistance. When Nathan arrived at the house the morning after the fire we were all completely devasted and still in shock. At the point the doorbell went, I had my head in my hands trying to decipher my policy to figure out what to do next after being fobbed off by the insurance company the previous night. Nathan's humility and compassion from that point forward allowed me and my husband to put our trust in him and the services that were being offered by Morgan Clarke. It wasn't a sales pitch, he genuinely wanted to help us as it was easy to see we were lost with the events that had happened in the previous 24 hours and didn't know what to do.
From start to finish the support, guidance and advice that was provided by Martin and the team at Morgan Clarke was quite simply second to none. They completely took the stress away from me and my family and handled the insurance claim from start to finish. I didn't have to deal with my insurance company again after the initial call, which was a relief after how they'd made me and my family feel when contacting them on the night of the fire.
Neither me or my husband had heard of a loss assessor until this point, however after my experience of dealing with Morgan Clarke my recommendation to anyone in a similar position would always be to use a loss assessor due to their knowledge and experience of dealing with insurance claims and insurance companies. My recommendation is not only based on the handling of the claim with the insurance company but also the speed at which the claim was turned around with appointing structural engineers, surveyors and the contractors to carry out the repairs.
I can't thank the team at Morgan Clarke enough for the support they've given us over the last 9 months in making a very difficult situation much more easier.

Five star service, fantastic company
We experienced a house fire in 2022.
The first couple of weeks after the fire were just awful. The loss adjuster our insurance company used to handle our claim were possibly the worst company I'd ever had to deal with. There was no empathy at all, calls and emails weren't returned, the person dealing with our claim was never available to talk to. At our wits end, a bit of Googling for advice introduced us to the world of loss assessors and namely Morgan Clark.
I got in touch with them and a representative came to see us the following day. He was obviously keen for our business but equally was not dismissive of the competition (we had also arranged a visit from another firm). He just urged us to employ a loss assessor as it was a large claim that needed professional handling. Once we engaged Morgan Clark we very quickly met with Paul Taylor who was going to handle our case. Instantly the anxiety and stress went away as he would be taking over and we'd no longer have to deal with the loss adjuster. The builders and surveryors employed by Morgan Clark were brilliant and we are absolutely delighted with our "new" home. Paul was very responsive and kept us up to date with all the developments, it was incredibly frustrating for him to have to deal with the loss adjuster but he managed to secure a good settlement for us for our contents and the building works.
If you have a large claim I'd urge anyone to give Morgan Clark a call and get some expert advice. They really were a life saver, there is absolutely no way we could have handled the claim ourselves and I'm sure we would have ended up a lot worse off financially without them.

Rang with a new enquiry; the helpful receptionist passed me to Alan who took the time to listen as to what had happened. He explained that the case was unlikely to fall within the remit of Morgan Clarke, but kindly passed me onto an alternative loss adjuster that might be able to assist. Alan’s professionalism and honesty is truly commendable and I’m grateful for his reassurances that things would be sorted.
