Customer satisfaction is definitely not a priority. Post installation issues not dealt with in a timely manner. Owner promises to return calls and never does. Took over 5 months to find out they're not going to help fix the bad flooring we bought. Better hope nothing goes wrong with flooring you buy from here. Will never be back!
Update: To be truthful, on multiple occasions you told me you'd call me back and never did. Waited weeks without getting any updates from you. Beyond frustrating. Being ignored repeatedly doesn't sit well with me.

The installers did damage in a couple places I had to pretty much begg to get very little back. Sales office very professional and courteous. Management wants all the money upfront as they don't trust the customer, but you're to trust them . If I wouldn't of paid upfront I would had less trouble settling
We tried Parkland because we were not happy with the service at Carpet superstore. Buying the carpet and booking the install went smoothly but the install was a different matter. The installer was a hour late because he was waiting for his partner who did not show up. That's understandable but when you take off work and don't get paid for it every hour counts He seemed to go pretty fast and it seemed like the install went alright until I inspected after he was done. I now have about 14 spots to fix and repaint on my walls due to scratching of the paint from the underside of the carpet, dings in the wall and a couple of black marks. I also have to repaint my telepost due to the scratches. I'm surprised there were not more walls damaged as he carried both rolls of carpet down my stairwell by himself even though I offered to help. Not happy at all, maybe this would of been avoided had you guys supplied a proper crew to install my carpet.
Ordered our blinds through Parkland because of a credit that came with the purchase of our new home. The service experience was so bad that we were VERY close to considering taking our business elsewhere and leaving the $1500 credit behind. We placed an order which arrived in 5 weeks but was measured incorrectly. We waited for months for the new cut, with no word of an ETA. The second batch came and half were cut incorrectly. So we had half our blinds downstairs and temporary ones upstairs. The staff at Parkland would not return our calls, after saying they will get back to us. After waiting almost half a year the remainder of our blinds came, but one bedroom was missing handles. We made SEVERAL calls to get the required handles, and we kept hearing "We will let you know when we can get it to you.", but no return calls were ever made. After weeks of waiting we were offered a different colour handle, which we refused. Over half a year after the initial order, and many many phone calls, we finally had everything we ordered. I don't know if we were given such poor service because of the home builder credit, but we will certainly never offer Parkland another dollar in the future.
The contracted installer did a good job, and was the only person to ever apologize to us, despite the fact that none of the incorrect measurements, false promises, and unreturned calls were his fault.

Laminate flooring match and install
Parkland was able to find the match for some flooring that was 5 years old.
The installer was friendly and competent. One minor fix was that the wrong edging was included so had to be ordered and installed later.

Overall the project went well.
It took a while to get the lino installed but then they worked steady to get the project completed. Had a little problem with the strip joining the lino to the rug but in the end it turned out great. I'm pleased with the overall installation. Elsie Reiss

Finally a Store with Service - Hmmmm, Novel idea!
We were shopping for Hardwood and Tile flooring experiencing frustration(lack of knowledge, lack of sales service, etc.) at various flooring shops. Parkland was recommended by some friends and we were pleased with the level of service provided. Also our sales person was knowledgeable with product(s) and install requirements. Our follow up visits for product pick up (handled our own delivery) and further purchase were problem free and we received friendly service. Overall shopping/purchase experience was good.

Backsplash installation
The process to getting this job done was unnecessarily stressful and upsetting and I will honestly try not to have to deal with Parkland ever again. I believe the initial installer did not have the expertise that was required to do an acceptable job and Parkland made no effort to ensure, by coming to visually evaluate, that he was competent and that the job was getting done as it should have been done(apparently we were the first job for this installer after getting hired by Parkland). Unfortunately, as the installer was running out of tiles, long before the job was complete, he tried to patch the tiles together and ended up with a pattern that was not random and ended up with bunching of the same color and size of tiles, which looked very bad. I have to wonder if the sales manager of Parkland, who initially measured our kitchen and ordered the tiles in, made a mistake or measured incorrectly?? As a manager, one would expect that he has the expertise to do his job. Also, I felt I was given the run around when I called to speak to this sales manager. I was initially told, after waiting for several minutes, that he was busy with a client, so I hung up and within a few short minutes called back again and again after a few minutes was told he had left for the afternoon. I subsequently found out that he indeed was In the office all day. Good customer relations should have included a call from the sales manager, whom we were dealing with, to, at the very least, apologize for the mess, so my advice to him is, if you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. I felt all Parkland was worried about was getting paid for the job, regardless of whether the work was acceptable or not. as before the job was anywhere from complete Parkland called to tell me they were proceeding with the final payment! We were told the installer was coming back, first thing the morning to complete the installation, however, finally after several calls back and forth, by late afternoon we were told the installer had quit and another installer would be coming the next day. This job should have taken 2 days to complete, but ended up taking a week and ultimately required the second installer to come and remove/replace some of the tiles, correct the pattern messes, replace the tile edging and grout. Seems to me that good business sense would require competent people representing your company.
I have to commend the Coordinator who tried very hard to make things right. He was a very calm fellow who worked hard to do his job and was a great representative for Parkland. Some should follow his example.
