Was with policy expert one year then before renewal shopped around spoke to the team and we agreed a renewal price which was very fair. They offer things on house insurance which were all extras with others

May be Cheaper but AVOID THEM AT ALL COST
Avoid this company for your home insurance at any cost, the insurance you will pay for for them to help you during your time of vulnerability they actually spend time and effort to battle against you when you actually need to claim. They will misquote you, force you to speculate on details they know you wouldn't know- in an attempt to use your answer to invalidate your claim, frustrated you to provide details they know are impossible to get eg- receipt of bottles of wines that were burgled. And when that all fails they will go to their small prints in their policies that they never make known till you are actually needing them. It's almost as if they train their staff to specifically find ways to deny genuine claims and they will probably get away with it against people who are vulnerable and don't know how to ask for extra help or challenge them.
Appalling.
You are better off without home insurance if you choose these lot.
