bad customer service, never buy anything online, Walmart would not take responsible on 3rd party merchants. Waited items for 3 months, contacted walmart customer service by email, no reply, suddenly received paypal email for issuing refund, never received refund back to my credit card. called customer service for price match, they said cannot offer price match. Scam..scam..by posting some items that you can never receive, holding your money for 3months, issuing refund only if you contact customer service, now items in stock with 3x price higher but can't do price match...what a scam store!! BEWARE...DO NOT BUY FROM WALMART ONLINE

Notified on day of pick up that one of the item ordered in was not available. Tried to go online to cancel the rest of the order but was not allowed.
Tried calling the location twice, phone just k
ept ringing.
I presume I have to go to the location to cancel the rest of my order.
Lesson learned - never book onlinw ith Walmart.

Today is an in store experience that I could not tolerate. We purchased some items from Walmart for our store and bought a wrong item by mistake. My staff then returned the item and was refunded. He asked for the new receipt as we need it to be sent to our accounting department for expenses however they did not give him saying they don't give receipts after a refund which is so weird. My staff told me so I went again to their customer service to clarify this and ask for the new receipt (maybe it was a misunderstanding). But I was also refused to be given the receipt even after I explained that we need it. The customer service person claimed that they can't do anything about it and it's good because I got the money back anyways. He said all stores even costco don't give receipts. And the other thing that really disappoints me is that I am explaining why I need the receipt and the customer service person keeps cutting me off while insisting they don't give receipts. I could not believe this so I contacted customer service and asked them regarding this matter. The agent I spoke with said that they can actually print a new receipt so I'm not sure why they can't or why they are refusing to give us one. What is happening Walmart?

don’t expect your order to get delivered

Ordered about 12 Christmas gifts and only 2 of them actually showed up, the others all showed ”returned to sender” when checking the tracking meaning they’ll never be delivered, walmart customer service is absolutely horrible, not only do you have to wait a half hour to 45mins to simply chat with someone then they won’t even offer any solutions besides contacting the third party sellers which often don’t respond, ended up having to open payment disputes through my credit card company to get my $ back after getting the constant run around from their incompetent customer service, absolutely horrible experience, will never order anything again

Was followed rudely by a undercover security guard. Of east Indian culture wearing a turbin. After showing my receipts, he refused to give me the store managers name, and rudely won't extend me. The courtesy of an apology, for his poor conduct and behavior. I was also treated rudely, condescendingly, and toyishly. From there customer care complaints line in India, and refused to be transferred to a Canadian representative. Had to call Walmart complaints line in the USA to receive satisfaction and a apology for such blatantly rude conduct and behavior. Never been exposed to the worst lack of extremely poor customer service. With Walmart Northgate Center in Edmonton Alberta. Needless to say, will never shop at a Walmart again. Would much rather pay a few dollars more. With there competitors, and receive the appropriate customer service. Will Google search for competitors with good reviews from now on. Since this review, and witnessing all Walmarts dissatisfied customers. I now understand why , Walmart has so many bad reviews, and the worst customer services

Avoid Walmart Marketplace !!!

I purchased my first SSD, a Samsung T7 Shield 2TB USB 3 2 External Solid State Drive, with 4.8 rating from Walmart Marketplace on Oct 24 and received it on Nov 6th. SKU: EA06105007F639AD835C0E0A9F2541D7
After trying to use it for backing up my files, I faced constant issues:
Copying 70gb of data took about 6 hours. At the end it appeared as if the SSD used the space but no files were there. I made sure hidden files are showing in the setting, still no files. Also I expected SSD should be faster then that.
After multiple failed attempts of copying the files, I went to a Walmart store for return or repair. They told me that I cannot return this product as the return window is 1 month and I should call the online customer service at 1800 328 0402.
I called the online customer service on Dec 21 and they opened a ticket. I waited for an update until Jan 4, when I called again. This time they said that they cannot do anything and I should call Samsung customer service. They also told me that the SSD was sold by Yijiazheng in China.
I called Samsung Canada customer service. They told me that Walmart marketplace is not an authorized seller and they can not help me.
I called Walmart back to let them know what Samsung said. Yet another ticket was created and I was told that someone will get back to me within 2 to 3 business days. It is Jan 17, I have not heard anything from Walmart. I called again and I was told that some one will get back to me in 48 hours. really!
Now I am stuck with a useless piece of garbage, that neither Walmart who allows these products to be sold on their website, nor Samsung, who doesn't care if someone build something fake under their name, take responsibility. The customers have to pay the price for that.

I applied for a Walmart Master credit card. I was accepted and issued a Temporary shopping
Pass for 10 days. During these 10 days I tried using this pass at Walmart Winnipeg Mb. St. Vital Centre and was denied. The Manager there couldn’t figure out the problem.
After spending over an hour on the phone with Walmart Customer Service different representatives trying to solve this problem. They ended up hanging up on me with no solution. I can’t believe this terrible Customer Service for people pursuing to resolve a credit card problem and being hung up on. Please think twice before applying for a Walmart Master credit card.

My Rights Violated and was Treated Like a Criminal

UPDATE: Now the store thinks I have a mental health problem. From reading all of these other complaints, I now realize there is no point in fighting with them or getting mad. They're not worried their reputation as the company is still making enough money.

It doesn't matter how good of a customer you are, they'll still treat you like a criminal if the staff members' paranoia kicks in. No, this has nothing to do with shoplifting or exhibiting hostile behaviour. What happens if they unknowing treated a secret shopper this way? I can only imagine how true my co-workers' claims about how bad of an employer is. The manager on duty claims she's justified to treat customers this way because it (her) private property.

A. Wrighteous
If this manager is this rude to me as a regular customer, I wonder what it'd be like to work under her. I will NEVER shop at Walmart again!!! Not worth the risk of getting a "fake" criminal record.

Is this the head store manager? Where is your PM button? How can one manager have such a different take on (this) situation? I don't trust what is going on behind the scenes while I wait for a response. As long as the m.o.d., the 6' tall Indian girl, and the 5'7" tall Indian girl who flipped out on me are still working there, there's not a snowball's chance in hell I'm giving that store any more of my frequently-spent money in there (or perhaps any Wlamart store).

The Canadian Walmarts could be next. Go to YouTube and type: "Walmart in deep trouble" . Let me speed things up by dandelion-seeding my anger throughout. She tried to take my phone and I lost data not relevant to her concern. I am NOT obligated to share my personal info with you.

As soon as I resisted letting her take the phone away from me, all 3 of them threatened to call the police on me. The 6' tall Indian girl stood in front of the exit gate and appeared that she would use physical constraints to prevent me from leaving. The Indian importees not only NOT know the Canadian law, but these Indian girls could be the holdover from the previous upper management that got fired due to hiring exclusively Indian workers. New Indian hirees get more hours than longer-tenured (non-Indian) workers.

As a frequent shopper of the Nanaimo, BC store, I'd expect to be treated with more dignity and given the benefit of the doubt. There was no voyeurism, shoplifting, aggressive behaviour, foul language on my part. Therefore, however right they may have for their concern is overpowered by their wrongs.

If only you did not disable your P.M. button I would've kept this b/n us. This took place at around 8:30 a.m. P.S.T..

Walmart steals customers money and scams

Walmart refused to give me back a refund from an online order I never received! It's been over a week, they mentioned they would escalate the call to start a refund, and have someone contact me back within 2-3 days. It's been over a week, called and they mentioned it wasn't processed properly and will have someone contact me again.

WALMART STEALS YOUR MONEY AND DOESN'T COOPERATE WITH YOU, ONLY FRAUDULENT BEHAVIOUR AND SCAMS!

I ordered two tablets for my…

I ordered two tablets for my granddaughters on Dec 8th as Christmas gifts, while I understand that it is a busy time of year it is now Jan 12th, tracking information was useless, Everytime I tried it says the system is down, I have sent numerous messages with no response what so ever, if I had known they wouldn't be there in time, I could have tried somewhere else or had my daughter in law purchase them for me, I went on the Kamloops Walmart to order them to be delivered in Kamloops, well over a month now....all I have been asking for is an expected delivery date.... to say I am frustrated is an understatement, these were Christmas gifts, one month to be delivered in the same city and it has taken this long? I don't understand, I have sent a ton of messages trying to get a response and I have received nothing! I just want to know when they will be delivered or a refund.... this is so unfair....

I was sold a dysfunctional phone by Walmart.ca

I was sold a dysfunctional phone by Walmart.ca (the internal antenna issn't working -- can't receive phone calls and text messages). The phone was certified refurbished. They say it is still on the Samsung manufacturer warranty, which is another lie. I went to see Samsung and they told me the phone has been out of warranty for 1 YEAR, because it is refurbished. So, I was sold a dysfunctional phone and I was lied about it being still under warranty. I offered Walmart to make things right by extending their return policy, but they refused with typical AI-generated copy-pasted emails.

Ancaster Walmart cleanest store ever

Good morning I usually have not a lot of good things to say about Walmart stores and tend to stay away at all cost but today I visited the Ancaster Walmart and I have to say it was one of the cleanest non congested well laid out stores! The closest store to me is Burlington Walmart on Fairview street and let me tell you it’s like night and day…Burlington one is dirty and gross and checkouts are always at half capacity and employees everywhere with big carts doing online shopping and wiping out stock…no prices coincide with product just plain gross…Ancaster however is the model store…now if I have to visit Walmart Ancaster will be my go to…five stars to this store!

If I could give zero I would

If I could give zero I would. I purchased a Hatch alarm clock from Walmart.ca in November as a Xmas present. It arrived and I wrapped it. Xmas morning it was unwrapped and was the wrong colour, so go to the store to return it and they refuse because it was a "3rd party seller" (HATCH) and they could not refund my money. I then contacted Hatch directly who said they have to take the return and refund money. Go back to Walmart, show them the email exchange, their system "won't allow it as it is past 30 days" - This is UNETHICAL and complete BS! I will be escalating this to BBB and Walmart Canada. These corporate turds are ripping us off, with their ridiculous policies that are absolutely unjust and against store policy. I bought the frikkin item from Walmart online, not Hatch online! Give me my refund!!! I will NEVER, I repeat NEVER shop at a Walmart again, and I will tell everyone I know and every follower I have on socials what a travesty of a company Walmart Canada is. Disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Don’t make online orders from Walmart

I made an online order for an Everstart car battery from Walmart a couple months ago. It’s their policy that the payment would include $20 core fee in order to make people return the old battery to them for environmental purpose. On 7/1/2025 I took the old battery back to their location at Silver Linden Drive. The customer service staff said she could not give the core fee back to me because I purchased the battery from online and didn’t have the physical receipt. I showed her my order email with order number from Walmart as proof of purchase. She still refused my request. She paged the manager three times and I had been waiting for 20 minutes. The manager never showed up. I asked for the manager’s name but she refused to give it to me. Then I asked for her name and she showed me her name tag. She told me that I could take a photo of it. Her name was Fardos, not a common name that I could remember. When I took my cellphone out from my pocket she changed to say that I couldn’t take photo of her name tag and became very rude. Later, a lady(not the manager because I later found his name and photo on the wall as Paul) came to the front desk. She verified my purchase on their computer and gave me $20 gift card. I requested to have the core fee go back to my credit card but she refused. She said that she could cancel the gift card then I can contact the online department for the refund of the core fee. I didn’t want to go through the hassle all over again. The process made me become very frustrated but I had no choice and accepted the gift card. Why they kept on giving me hard time? Why people make online purchase from Walmart get penalized? Over 90% of the staff work at the Silver Linden store are from a specific ethnic group. Would it be the reason that the customer service there is particularly bad? Perhaps other people can tell.

I have been to the store 3 time for answers, contacted there non help line and been to customer service. All have told me they cannot help me do anything. An order is over due and talking to the delivery service answer is, " It was delivered"! To where as even the store don't know. Took almost 3 time and over 2 weeks to find this out. As of this date been over a month of no delivery which includes from order date. No answers From anyone

Do not order online...

Do not order online just go to the store to make your purchases. We are trying the promotional 2 or 3 months free delivery and it has been nothing but problems. No one knocks, rings the bell or calls to let us know they are here, they have shown up over half an hour late, more than half the stuff we have tried to buy are out of stock and doesn't say so on the site. Tonight one of our food boxes were ripped open and when we called to speak to someone about it, we were instructed to print off the receipt and bring it in store for a refund. I should have just gone to the store to begin with. Would save a lot of hassle. I send them feedback each order, the last one I advised them to improve their service if they actually want me to pay almost $100 for delivery a year.
