Three Walmart Physical Gift cards each $75.00, showed $0 value. I have been in contact with their customer service and responsible office for over two months. Nothing happen, no response but a robotic email response that "we got your concern....bla bla, Bla. No more and no solution. I have raised concern about the first card, but so far three of them are bad. Their customer service is terrible. I do not recommend you buy gift cards / physical from their stores. The store will not look after you. You call a number and you are directed to another, then another, then another, etc. Today is Feb 03, 2025, and no resolution or call back on update. I will never shop at Walmart after this, nor will I buy gift cards. I am expecting a response and correction/fixing the bad physical cards, or they have lost my confidence for a very long time to come.

Really, no stars. My ordered PlayStation was never delivered. I have emailed and called over 10 times. Walmart told me to file a false report to police that it was stolen. IT WAS NEVER DELIVERED! I know as I have a doorbell camera. Don’t buy from Walmart.
Customer service is absolutely terrible. Zero authority and can’t even provide an explanation other than I see myself on the online order tracker. Absolutely disgusting. They need to close Walmart in Canada we do not need customer service that low. You don’t even deserve the 1 star I wish there was zero star here
Horrible customer service
The cashiers were so slow and can’t answer simple questions politely
So I had purchased a pair of kiss
So I had purchased a pair of kiss, individual lashes and I get them all the time but this time I bought them they literally disintegrated in my hands and just fell apart. Legit just fell apart. I’m supposed to be getting ready for my birthday party right now, but now I have to go to Walmart and pay for another pair. Are you serious? I just bought these.

Walmart asked me for a review of my…
Walmart asked me for a review of my first purchase and then rejected the review for being too much about competant customer service ( and the lack thereof ). This was the review they rejected:
Delivered damaged after a week of waiting at home for a series of failed deliveries. I tried to cancel on day 2 of failed deliveries and was told at the store to call the Walmart.ca people. The Walmart.ca people told me to call the courier company. The courier company told me to call Walmart. No recourse offered except to return it to a store for credit. First and last purchase online.... buyer beware

Don't double charge for online orders
Don't double charge for online orders. Food is expensive enough without you charging me twice for the same order!
Called customer service 1 800 328 0402. I had to repeat order number twice and my name and address 3 times. I was finally told I would receive my money back in 5 to 7 days. Be more careful with other people's money.

Walmart Customer Service a BIG FAIL!
Purchased several items November 19th, 2024 for Black Friday sales. One item, immersion blender was marked down over 1/2 price, delivery showed to arrive Nov 23rd. After that date and not receiving it, I called Customer Service and had a very hard time understanding them. They told me to keep waiting, which I did again making several phone calls because I have not been hearing anything back from them. Finally, one person I spoke to said she’d escalate the issue. Received a response back by email on December 10 stating that the item is not in stock and they wanted to give me a $10 voucher to use anytime not wanting to honour The sale price with either another item of the same or equal value or extended, offering when the item arrives back into stock. I’m confused. It was a black Friday sale and I placed the order right away when the ad came up on Walmart’s website and they ran out of stock That they weren’t able to fulfil my order I don’t think that’s the. Very poor Customer Service definitely do not care about their Customers.

Third time ordering freezer MIA
I am on number 3 order for my freezer. They say it was delivered but when calling the carrier, my contact information is not what's on their tracking number. First, second and third order all have the same tracking number. I re-ordered thinking it could not happen again but it did. The third time I ordered I had it shipped to the store but guess what? It's MIA

Avoid Online orders
Walmart needs to do an overhaul / update of there online shopping app and website as a whole, additionally needs to have a way better order tracking and status system other than the current method which includes BREAKING up orders and not allowing for the customer to view what the status is and or where items are. They claim to have shipped items (charged the card) but items are nowhere to be found or seen.

Removed Giftcard option on app & website
I’m very disappointed with Walmart Canada for removing the option to pay with a Walmart gift card on both the app and the website. This defeats the entire purpose of making your services accessible, especially for customers who rely on features like online shopping and the pickup option.
Gift cards are meant to provide convenience and flexibility, but without the ability to use them online, they become nearly useless for many customers. In 2025, this lack of functionality is unacceptable. Other retailers have streamlined their gift card usage online—why is Walmart moving backward?
Please bring this feature back. If you’re going to continue offering Walmart gift cards, make them usable for all your services. Otherwise, don’t offer them at all. It’s frustrating and feels like a step in the wrong direction.
Walmart, you’re a leader in retail. Act like it.

Walmart Why are You Not Listening to Your Customers?
OMG, I wish I had seen these reviews before doing an online purchase with Walmart Canada. My experience is like so many of the reviews here.
I am very unhappy with my purchase experience with Walmart. I purchased a Canon R7 Camera bundle and the cost of this was significant. The order was delivered in good time but it was missing one of the 128GB memory cards. I contacted the Walmart chat line and was told someone from the escalation team would reach out to me to resolve this problem. I did get a call three days later and the Walmart representative said I had to return the camera bundle to a Walmart store and make a new order. Given that only one piece of the order was missing I asked for the missing memory card to be shipped to me. The response was that this is not possible and my ONLY option was to return the camera bundle to a Walmart store and reorder. This is ridiculous. I purchased this camera to take on an extended vacation to South East Asia. I was leaving in a few days and I had no time to visit a Walmart store when the closest store is some distance away. This left me with no choice but to accept an incomplete order delivery. This was a very expensive purchase and I am extremely disappointed that Walmart offered no flexibility to resolve the issue, especially when Walmart was at fault. I asked to be connected with a more senior member of staff and was told that was not possible and I should call into the help line to get connected with another staff member. So the escalation team at Walmart does not escalate issues. Rather than waste my time on this I gave Walmart a one star review in response to their customer feedback survey. This was another shocker. My review was denied. And I quote:
“We weren’t able to publish your review to the website... This review falls outside of our content guidelines and won’t be posted, but we hope you’ll submit another review.
Your review cannot be approved because it is:
- customer service focused
- shipping or fulfillment focused
Want to try again?...”
So Walmart has a firewall to block customer feedback they don’t like! Kudos to Trustspilot.com for giving Walmart customers a voice. Had I found this website earlier I would have placed my order with Amazon. Needless to say, I will not be using Walmart’s online order service in future and I plan to boycott Walmart stores altogether.
Walmart, why are you not listening to your customer? Well it is pretty clear to me and 90% of the reviewers on this website that the answer to that question is you just don’t care about your customers. You just care about making money.

After waiting 30+ minutes to have my…
After waiting 30+ minutes to have my groceries delivered to my truck, my wife telling me that the App stated we already picked up our groceries, I grew frustrated and went inside to customer service. After waiting in line...not because there was a long line, but because there was NO ONE in customer service, a girl finally showed up, helped the person ahead of me, and then asked if she could help me. As I took my 1st step forward and started to say "yes...", some ja***ss standing to the side by a shopping cart, jumped in front of me and began getting help from her. She didn't bat an eye, didn't tell him to wait like everyone else - no she just dropped me and helped him instead. Now I was pissed off. When she finally finished with that ass, and asked me, I told her I want to speak with the manager! No more screwing around. A manager never arrived, but while waiting, another staff member was looking for a woman, which had my wifes name, so i flagged her down and asked if its about a grocery delivery and she said yes. I began telling her of the BS customer service that day. She apologized, said she has my groceries and then brought them out. What a disaster of service. Bad enough 99% of the staff are from another country, don't know our customs and barely speak English, but the staff aren't even trained on what good customer service means. With so many Canadians unemployed, why import people?? I really miss corner stores and the days of exceptional customer service...

Deceitful Online Sales Practices for Cyber Monday
Puts products on sale online and oversells inventory, charges your credit card and then cancels your order with zero customer service upon inquiry. NOT shopping at Walmart anymore.

BEWARE OF BUYING LARGE APPLIANCES FROM…
BEWARE OF BUYING LARGE APPLIANCES FROM WALMART CANADA. I bought a large stand up freezer for my daughter which was delivered to her place in Ottawa, Ontario today (Dec 3/2024). She has the option to work from home and was waiting for the delivery. The delivery guys just left it on the front and went away; they didn't even ring the bell. So to get it in the house she had to hire 2 people to bring it in and put it in place for her (had to pay them $60). I've bought many large appliances in my time before and the delivery guy's always brought it in. When did this change? Is this just walmart. Whatever it is its terrible terrible customer service.

I am extremely frustrated with walmart's customer service
I am extremely frustrated with walmart's online customer service. They are unhelpful and seem to have no knowledge about resolving customer issues.
I purchased two fireplace glass doors from walmart: one in October 2024and the second in November 2024. The most recent one had missing parts and unaligned doors. I reported the issue on the same day I received it, and the item was picked up promptly. However, it has been two weeks and still haven't received my refund.
I have contacted customer service multiple times, but none of the representatives can provide a clear answer about the status of my refund. This delay has caused a negative balance on my walmart credit card, and I am left without solution. When I requested to speak with management, the customer service employees told me there was no phone number to contact them and hung up on me.
This experience has been extremely disappointing, and I urgently need assistance to resolve this issue and receive my refund but there is no one to help

Return policy is really worst
Return policy is really worst, they sometimes sell faulty products such as clothes and electronics items. At the time of returning the product they act like they have no responsibilities. So if anyone wants to buy anything it’s good to check the quality instantly

Walmart Canada is a huge joke
Walmart Canada is a huge joke, you order cat litter to be delivered, they take over 5 days, call the number to Walmart Canada 7 times to see where litter is and then time 8 tell you they cancelled the order as undeliverable, considering we got the groceries delivered no problem. WTF Walmart are you kidding me, I order online as I have no way to get to the store, and they decide to use UBER to deliver it, and UBER says undeliverable, but the fact is they never tried. This is a big joke and kinda sad theat Walmart Canada sucks when it comes to customer service. I'm not done with them yet, I want to be compensated for my stress and frustration over a damn box of litter.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE FROM WALMART!!! They have the absolute worst customer service and support. They say they are trying to complete with Amazon and other online platforms. What a joke.

Worst online experience….
Note that I cannot give a zero star rating or I would. My wife wanted to order some clothes line as the local store does not stock enough size ranges. That is the first issue. Second issue is related to the e-commerce portion of the line store; this site would have been marginal 20 years ago, today it is utterly inexcusable! Took multiple attempts to get my card data entered, now my card is locked. Third is the minimal information that we were ordering”Marketplace “ items and would be dinged extra shipping. Nowhere does the site tell you this, but you finish your order and “Surprise!l” you find out the shipping ($18,98 in my case) has been added to the cost. For heaven’s sake tell people up front there will be extra shipping!!
This is the second time my wife has used Walmart online shopping and we both agree we’d rather do without the products than go through this again.
Come on Walmart, get your act together, this is abysmal!!

Stay away from these giant thieves!!
Stay away from these giant thieves!!! I canceled an item that was delayed for 3 weeks, they didn't return my money as requested, instead.. they sent me a egift card which 2 weeks later had zero balance on it. So I lost 500 bucks and they don't do a darn thing about it.!!!! I am sure it was someone on the inside.

Do not order online
Do not order online. My first order (sofa) was damaged, and it took me ages to contact their support. I gave it another try, and my second order (freezer) was lost, and I wasn't able to use their "Contact seller" form, it was showing error all the time. I cannot recommend online orders with Walmart.

Why does Walmart only hire Indian cultures?
I have a question? Why are there only Indian employees at every Walmart I go in? Are they racist against any other race or culture? Or are they taking advantage of the Canadian Liberal policy to have working Canadian tax payers pay their wages while they make more profit? Both are wrong. I know students & mother's that are born Canadians of different cultural back grounds that have never been giving an interview. An investigation needs to happen. If they are adusing & using subsidized workers to pay their employees wage they should have to pay this back.Hire Canadian's, mom's, students support Canadian's. Use that money to take the tax of toilet paper & feminine hygiene products or tooth paste or for health care. Walmart doesn't need to make more money @ Canadian's expense. Please explain? Canada is suppose to be fair & culturally diverse? We are struggling, so please stop taking advantage of us, your customers.Any Walmart CEO or manager care to explain? I am not racist. Equal to all. Look in your stores that is not equal to all. Our students need these jobs to preparing for their future, learn responsibilty & save for Post Secondary School. They can't get jobs at Walmart. You are Walmart Canada & should hire Canadian's first regardless or colour, race or religion. Our youth can not get a job with you & your employees are 95% Indian. If they are Canadian's then you are racists. If you are getting subsidizing you are shamefully taking advantage of Canadian's. Please respond with an explanation. Why can youth or mom's not get a job with you.
