Dodgy 3rd party website - booked and payed months ago, hotel never received the booking confirmation. Horrible/non existent customer service, you only receive the same useless automated email again and again. If you want to ensure you have a place to stay I highly recommend to stay off this website even though prices are good (too good)!!

I was in Bali and saw a great deal at 19$, so i book it with Algotels... but ive been charge 139$, ive immidiatly contact Algotels to tell them, they told me it wasnt refundable. Ive insist, they told me they will make an invistagation ,not worry,they work for me ! It will take 1 or 2 hours... i sent many emails, and 1 month later they say my money was lost, no refund. They are crook, do not make buisness with them.

Price was good, hotel was great, Algotels sadly useless.
I booked a room at a hotel in Amsterdam, nowhere was it obviously made clear that the hotel would choose our room for us, the choice was double or twin. There was a box on the order that one can put Special Requests, so I fill it out, requesting a double room, an accessible room for my disabled wife and to say we won't be arriving until 10.30/11pm. The day before we travel I thought I better call the hotel just to check, imagine my surprise when the hotel says they've received no special request details from Algotels, I immediately message Algotels and get some blanket response and have multiple emails getting nowhere. Not even an apology for not booking an accessible room.

Won't use them again.

I was absolutely terrified when I read the reviews on here, I only read them after making the booking. I thought I had been scammed. But I contacted the hotel directly and everything was booked correctly. When I arrived at destination things went smooth. The only thing I would say is, that there was a local tax which Algol had written as "paid" which I actually had to pay at the hotel reception. Around 25 usd, but taking that into account the price was fairly similar to other offerings around the internet. I'm sorry other people have lost their money, at least in my case the reservation was there and the room was the one that I had booked.

Algotels offered me a nightly rate of $95.81 at the Wyndham Grand in Pittsburgh PA. The rate was confirmed by the hotel in email. I accepted the booking and checked in. After checking in, the following day, Algotels sent an email receipt with an inflated charge. When I contacted Algotels about the overcharge, they claimed that by checking in, I accepted the rate. They will not refund the overcharge, even though they acknowledged the original nightly rate. Avoid booking with this disreputable company.

I made a reservation with a cancellation date a month off. I called to cancel but they refused to do it. Crooks! never use them. I had to cancel my credit card and put a block since they had already taken the money even though at the time of booking they said they would not charge the card.

C'est une arnaque, Ils ne payent pas les réservations, à l'arrivée vous devez payer à nouveau, ensuite quand vous demandez le remboursement, ils persistent à répondre que la réservation à été payée, et si vous demandez une preuve de paiement ils ne répondent plus, des voleurs à éviter.

I managed to double book the same hotel and immediately emailed the customer support email.
Keyrr replied immediately.
I explained the problem and it was sorted straight away.
The refund was also made quickly.
I am very very impressed with the service.

Das Unternehmen hält einen "Receipt" für eine Rechnung, obwohl diverse Basisanforderungen fehlen - nicht einmal die Firmenadresse oder mein Name als Leistungsempfänger ist enthalten, von einer Rechnungsnummer ganz zu schweigen! Ich wusste nicht, dass so etwas rechtlich überhaupt möglich ist, wie können die eine Buchhaltung führen, eine Steuererklärung abgeben? Egal, vor allem habe keine Rechnung für meine Steuererklärung! Never again!

Booked a hotel through Trivago and was worried that I got redirected to algotels.com for the actual booking. Then got really worried when I saw all the negatives reviews online! I contacted algotels and asked them to send me the hotel confirmation number, which they did (as they normally just provide their "booking number" which the hotels don't care about). I then contacted the hotel and they confirmed the reservation is there, and it is fully paid for. But it did take some time for the reservation to show up (I actually called the hotel 3 times). The process seems a bit sketchy to me - either Trivago could do a better job of warning about what to expect, or Algotels could provide the hotel confirmation number by default (which they claim they do, but didn't in my case until I asked). Still, I saved a good amount of money booking this way. Just feels more stressful somehow.

Stay clear from algotels. I booked paris hotel in las vegas. They dont wanna help people. I had called about 5 other times to get a best gaurantee rate. i found somewhere cheaper and wanted a credit. They claim theyll have someone call back in 24-48 hours and that isnt the case. They are a scam and will never use them again.

I booked a hotel in Scottsdale with Algotels. I was charged $360 for 2 nights. The hotel did not have the reservation but I was able to check in since they had room. They only charged me $314.00. I tried contacting Algotels immediately. Both charges posted to my statement. I have called Algotels 11 times. Each time I have to give the reservation number, name, dates . The reps spew a script that they won’t change. I can not actually have a conversation. Non native English speakers all have the same weird accent. They won’t let me speak to someone who could actually remove their charge! Algotejs website offers a refund and $50 voucher if u get a better rate which I did! That is a LIE. I’m assured my concern is being forwarded to the correct department and I will hear within 24-48 hours. I have 11 emails.
NEVER book with a 3 rd party. Lesson learned. Disputed with my credit card company. ALGOTELS is terrible.

My wife and I were devastated when our Istanbul trip was cancelled due to severe weather. We contacted the hotel, who thankfully agreed to refund us. However, our experience with Algotels, the booking service we used, was nothing short of a nightmare.

Deceptive Customer Service: Their contact number is a joke. You'll be greeted by an automated message saying that your call cannot be processed at this time, please try again later, ad only if you hold on for over 10 seconds of complete silence will you be passed to a representative.
Broken Promises: After explaining our situation, we were assured that the issue would be resolved. But within 24 hours, we received an automated email stating our booking was non-refundable, despite the hotel's agreement.
Payment Trickery: They claim to accept PayPal, but this option never works, forcing you to use a card. This leaves you vulnerable with no way to recover your money if something goes wrong.
Non-Existent Support: Their customer service is designed to discourage contact, making it virtually impossible to get help when you need it.
Algotels is not only failing to honor its commitments, but it's also stealing from both customers and the hotels they represent. Avoid this service at all costs. If you encounter any issues, be prepared for a complete lack of support and resolution.

Used Algotels after seeing their quote on Trivago. It was for a weekend in Liverpool; arrived at the hotel, the booking had indeed been made with the hotel but the money I had paid Algotels ,in June 2024, had not been forwarded to the hotel so I had to pay again. The customer service email address given on the booking confirmation was false; my email was undelivered, So Algotels could not be contacted to repay my payment. I have contacted Trivago but they say they just run a comparison site. Algotels best avoided

es simplemente UNA ESTAFA. Cuando llegas al hotel, la habitación ha sido cancelada, y si quieres contactar con ellos, el único numero que hay es de USA
Llegamos al hotel y el hotel no tenia constancia de la reserva.
El agravante era que no había habitaciones disponibles ni en el hotel ni en los alrededores.
Cuando entre en la pagina web de Algotels con el numero de reserva que me dieron, decía que la habitación había sido cancelada y NO POR MI
No solo es un timo, una estafa, sino que te complica la vida una barbaridad al No Haber habitaciones disponible para esa noche.
Somos dos jubilados en los 75 años.
NUNCA volveré a tratar con esta empresa son unos impresentables.

I was terrified seeing the bad reviews, and raised this by contacting algotels. They got back to me very quickly and were very helpful. I had no issues with my booking. This is not a scam site. At least from my experience.

These thieves sold me 3 nights at the Hyatt in Sarasota, which was closed the day before my booking, due to the arrival of Hurricane Milton. They refused to refund or re-book, despite natural disaster. I contacted the Hyatt and they confirmed they received no funds from Algotels. AVOID!
