Phoned to ask where online order was. Guy on phone had a crap attitude. No personality, just seemed to enjoy his wee interrogation in a useless robotic voice. Asking for my personal details like I owed him something. I hung up. Phoned back got a woman this time. Similar crap attitude. She wouldn't continue her wee interrogation of my personal details unless I literally said the word FLAT, as in, my flat number, Flat 60. She wouldn't accept just me saying "60". She wouldn't just accept the flat number, forced me to say the word "Flat". Spent thousands at currys in the past few years. Not any more.

This has to be the worst customer experience I've ever had.
I ordered and paid for a new Sony TV on 27th December paying an additional £20 for a specific delivery slot on 10th January.
The deli
very never arrived and a revised delivery date was given for 19th January. I went to Curry's Stanway store on the 11th January to complain and the store assistant after making a phone call rescheduled delivery for today (13th January).
Unfortunately for me this delivery never took place and has now been rescheduled for 16th January however I have no confidence that this date will be met.
As a result I will be returning to their store tomorrow to request a refund.
If there was a 0 star rating Currys definitely deserve it.
I would never shop in Currys again.

Booked a week in advance for delivery& connection between 4hr slot.was for my brother no sign brother had to ho to work arrived 35 mins later not updated at all. Although 2 great guys fitter really took his time to make sure new washer was ok.

This has to be the worst customer experience I've ever had.

Absolute rubbish.

Absolute rubbish.. the worst store l have ever dealt with.. took 2 payments of £206 in October. It’s now 10th January 2025 and still no refund. Currys you are a waste of space 😡😡😡😡

Phoned to ask where online order was. Guy on phone had a crap attitude. No personality, just seemed to enjoy his wee interrogation in a useless robotic voice. Asking for my personal details like I owed him something. I hung up. Phoned back got a woman this time. Similar crap attitude. Absolutely terrible customer service…who won’t adhere to consumer law

Absolutely terrible customer service regarding a faulty Dyson vacuum,under 4 months old so by law I am entitled to a refund or exchange. Customer care line tells me to take it to shop for exchange. Shop don’t want to know.they say their call centre is wrong it happens all the time and I have to contact Dyson. I contact Dyson while I’m in the shop they video call to tell me some test and confirm a faulty cleaner and they will post me a new motor housing,two weeks later still no parts so contact a well known customer rights company who formulated a letter and confirm that the unit must be exchanged under consumer rights act of 2015 that they are in breach of contract.
Turns out there is no email address for customer complaints,this was confirmed by my having to use web chat which I understand is out sourced to India along with the call centre. Call centre say take it back to the shop, back to the shop we go today and customer services will not exchange it call for manager and the same they are adamant that it’s not their problem it’s Dysons.So Looks like I will give it until mid next week see if the part arrives, and then legal letter by registered post and if that doesn’t work,use my home insurance legal cover or a section 75 credit card route.
Over a month now and no further forward

Appalling Customer Service

Absolutely disgusted with the customer service that this company has to offer. Brought an iPad 256 gb for my sons Christmas present. Only for a 64gb one to arrive. As this was brought online they had dpd to come and collect the following day and a replacement would be sent the same day. After hearing nothing for a few days I called to follow up to be told that it has been lost in transit and to call dpd. Contacted dpd and was confirmed it was delivered and signed by “Arnold� the following day and it’s sitting on a pallet in the warehouse. After multiple chases and requested for a manager call back, they went silent, no manager call. Called and logged a complaint told that I will get a call in 24/48 hours. Silent again. Called and spoke to someone for 6th time and told me there nothing that can be done and have to wait for the complaints team to call. Just received my first email to say that I have wait 21 days to get a response and if I don’t get a response to chase again so they can reopen the case again. Absolutely stunned to how such a big company treats their customers in such an appalling way. My son left without his Christmas present and still not know when he’s going to get it. Terrible and the last time I spend my money with this shameful company.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Ordered a laptop on 29th November but there was a fault with their system so it wasn't processed. It's now 9th January and I am still chasing for a refund. They promise managers will call back but they don't. I've made a formal complaint but not heard anything. Had an email at the beginning of December saying the item was out of stock (it wasn't) so I would get a refund in 5-7 days. And still i wait. Emailed the CEO. Still waiting for my £360. All this agro because of a fault at their end. Go on social media and you'll see many more people are being treated the same way. Avoid this company.

I am updating my review of curry's response to me. I keep going round in circles trying to gey my point across?
May I say my response is that of my treatment by curry's staff front of house .
Why aren't I believed when I say I am not in a scam for buying apple cards you can use these cards for many items not just for gaming ? Product like books food medication Internet payments.
I researched extensively yesterday on apple website providing you log in to them you can purchase many things
I abhor those who think they know better than you I just wish they would brush up their knowledge on apple cards.and their use.
I will not be going into curry's store Bangor retail park qwynedd ever again .
Why sell them if when you get to pay then refused? Baffles me.
I will not be reviewing again of curry's end of reviews

MSI OLED IS THE WAY TO GO

after many hours and days having looked at many choices and lots of you tube reviews regarding OLED 27 inch monitors it seemed that msi was the way to go go go. it was ordered on the 3rd of january 2025 and arrived in store 05th of january 2025 so it exceed my expectation already. it was very easy to set up and connect to my pc. in comparison to my other monitors now which are just normal va panel msi monitors they look positively dim in comparison. The level of colour and the darkness of the black is unreal. I am so happy I went with this model.

Care plan is an absolute scam. Horrendous customer service

Took out their care plan for a washing machine. Machine seal broke so rang to get it repaired. Took 11 days for an engineer to come out, take one look at it and say there is nothing they can do as they’ve ordered the wrong part (he had been given the part for a tumbler dryer despite me giving the model and serial no for a washing machine and explaining the problem clearly was to do with water leaking from the seal). Rang back to get an engineer rebooked. The earliest they could do was 16 days later (27 days after it broke!). As this breached their 7 day promise period I requested a replacement instead so I didn’t have to wait another 2.5 weeks (this is in accordance with their policy). I was told I had to wait for the 7 days to elapse even though it definitely won’t be fixed before then. After the 7 days elapsed I rang back to request a replacement, and was then told they need an engineer report to write off the machine (this is NOT in the terms and conditions of the care plan and was the first I had heard of it). The earliest they could get an engineer out was a further 8 days wait. I asked them to confirm where in the T&Cs it stated I need an engineer to write off the appliance and nobody could give me that information despite repeating it to me a dozen times. I finally got them to read out the model and serial numbers I had given in my original call which align to the washing machine but they would not accept fault from their end for ordering the wrong part. I am now currently waiting for someone to call me back (can take up to 72 hours) to confirm whether or not they will replace my appliance despite the policy clearly stating it should have been replaced by now! I have spent over 3.5 hours on the phone to currys, passed from one team to the next. All as incompetent as the last. Do not buy the care plan it is abysmal and not worth a penny

Avoid customer service dreadful

Bought a fridge freezer couldn’t understand what the two delivery men was saying and they couldn’t completely understand me it was very uncomfortable they unpacked the fridge freezer outside no idea why then struggled to carry it in kept putting it down then dragging it across my expensive floor I repeatedly asked them not to drag it but they kept dragging it until I got quite forceful they have scratched my floor !!!!!! I’ve written a previous review which had a reply asking me to contact them quoting a ref number I did this days ago and haven’t had any reply reading all the very recent reviews seems these have gone dreadful across the board not just delivery if I could I’d give -5 stars

Balance taken from gift card

Tried to order online with Curry’s gift cards, the website crashed and the balance was wiped from the gift cards. Contacted Curry’s who promised the balance would be refunded within 48 hours-unsurprisingly this did not happen and Curry’s are not interested in resolving the issue.

I would give them a minus figure but you’re not allowed too! Friends of mine - elderly - brought a 50inch tv in oct 24. On 21 Nov 24 they took it back as it had a fault. Now 2nd Jan 25 still don’t have it back. Despite being promised either their money back or a replacement - by the call centre neither have materialized. They went back to the store to be told “we can keep it as long as we like�. Then we were told that the tv was back with LG and they gave me the phone number, on speaking to LG we were told, we don’t take tvs back so someone is lying to you! Well done to Curry’s for treating old age pensioners in this manner, I don’t expect anyone who works for them could lie straight in bed! Never buy from them again.

We Ordered a apple Mac because we needed one urgently for same day collection in Chichester When we arrived they said it was not in stock. Then had the audacity to say they had a different colour available but it was a hundred quid more. That prompted an instant cancellation so we got the same laptop from John Lewis 20 pounds cheaper. Never again !!!

Wrexham currys store 2 of there…

Wrexham currys store 2 of there employees are bully's! On my own with 2 kids asking for advise about how to return a tv and he started raising his voice shouting at me his name was rich and the manager simon watched it all happen and then started saying how rich was a really nice guy. Yeah sounds it. Might of had a bad day or whatever. But as a manager try and resolve it now make things worst telling me to leave when I didn't Evan do anything wrong. Took forever to ring someone to complain also emailed. I know nothing will probably be done about it. But really hope they improve there management and customer service skills! If I had spoke to someone in my work like he did my manager would be straight over to resolve things. Bunch of bully's looks like they seen i was on my own with 2 kids and took advantage to not try and help me and belittle me. Thanks currys avoid avoid avoid. Especially wrexham branch!

Online voucher balance taken

Tried to make a purchase online for a fridge using a voucher. They took the £450 balance of the voucher but the purchase failed to go through. I have been trying to get the balance reinstated but no luck. Effectively have had £450 stolen by Curry’s with no way of getting it back. Spoken to their customer service number multiple times and they seem to be clueless.

Worst customer service!!!!

Worst customer service!!!!
Ordered a vinyl player online, however due to poor quality and potentially faulty, we tried to return to store as stated we could do online, however was told it cannot be returned to store unless unopened?? Sorry but how ridiculous.

Please do not order from curry’s if you may need to return!!!

Will attempt to return via online however not hopeful.
