If I could rate it zero I would, customers representatives are not empathetic but are contradictory, so no care or compassion. Avoid currys. Delivery issues, installation mis information, gift voucher as compensation sent weeks later but to wrong address and title was also incorrect, so can’t use and after contacting them 2 representatives told me they’d raise so it will be sent via email it’ll take 24-48 hours but twice incorrect information. Just avoid them, they really are an awful company.

Given date for delivery today am failed , rang us and was told the driver was taken ill, so another driver took over and then the van broke down so our fridge/freezer is supposedly sitting on there van but will take another week before they can deliver it so it will go back to there depot and wait for another van and driver to deliver it. You couldn't make it up. Currys must be the only company in Devon with only 2 delivery vans.
Currys Cribbs Causeway 2.30pm Sunday 19th Jan 2025. intended to purchase Amazon Echo and Tefal airfryer. Stood waiting to talk to a salesperson but the couple infront were asking about an offer. It started with 2 salespeople helping, they then called a third and now 2 more joined in. So together with my partner we patiently waited but at the 5 minute mark I had to make a decision. Do I interrupt the cabal and make an issue of this appalling service or do I walk? I start with a very, very low estimation of Curry's values - irrespective of whatever crappy customer service statement that they publish. I walked and once again promised myself to NEVER buy from them again. If there had been a manager available I would have explained my complaint - but guess what? He was tied up as part of the 5 helpers!
Not so much customers for life as customers after life! My uncle passed way and despite informing Currys and supplying the death certificate on request they continued to deduct CarePlan payments for another 2 years. Many phone calls and emails later we are still waiting on the money back. The latest communication is ridiculous: Should you not receive your cheque within this timeframe, please allow up to 28 days before notifying us as we will not be able to reissue before this time has passed.

MSI OLED IS THE WAY TO GO
after many hours and days having looked at many choices and lots of you tube reviews regarding OLED 27 inch monitors it seemed that msi was the way to go go go. it was ordered on the 3rd of january 2025 and arrived in store 05th of january 2025 so it exceed my expectation already. it was very easy to set up and connect to my pc. in comparison to my other monitors now which are just normal va panel msi monitors they look positively dim in comparison. The level of colour and the darkness of the black is unreal. I am so happy I went with this model.

Care plan is an absolute scam. Horrendous customer service
Took out their care plan for a washing machine. Machine seal broke so rang to get it repaired. Took 11 days for an engineer to come out, take one look at it and say there is nothing they can do as they’ve ordered the wrong part (he had been given the part for a tumbler dryer despite me giving the model and serial no for a washing machine and explaining the problem clearly was to do with water leaking from the seal). Rang back to get an engineer rebooked. The earliest they could do was 16 days later (27 days after it broke!). As this breached their 7 day promise period I requested a replacement instead so I didn’t have to wait another 2.5 weeks (this is in accordance with their policy). I was told I had to wait for the 7 days to elapse even though it definitely won’t be fixed before then. After the 7 days elapsed I rang back to request a replacement, and was then told they need an engineer report to write off the machine (this is NOT in the terms and conditions of the care plan and was the first I had heard of it). The earliest they could get an engineer out was a further 8 days wait. I asked them to confirm where in the T&Cs it stated I need an engineer to write off the appliance and nobody could give me that information despite repeating it to me a dozen times. I finally got them to read out the model and serial numbers I had given in my original call which align to the washing machine but they would not accept fault from their end for ordering the wrong part. I am now currently waiting for someone to call me back (can take up to 72 hours) to confirm whether or not they will replace my appliance despite the policy clearly stating it should have been replaced by now! I have spent over 3.5 hours on the phone to currys, passed from one team to the next. All as incompetent as the last. Do not buy the care plan it is abysmal and not worth a penny

Shocking telephone customer service, passed to different people constantly, blatantly lied to and no could care less. Every time is the same, Currys obviously find this acceptable and I for one will never shop there again.

Avoid customer service dreadful
Bought a fridge freezer couldn’t understand what the two delivery men was saying and they couldn’t completely understand me it was very uncomfortable they unpacked the fridge freezer outside no idea why then struggled to carry it in kept putting it down then dragging it across my expensive floor I repeatedly asked them not to drag it but they kept dragging it until I got quite forceful they have scratched my floor !!!!!! I’ve written a previous review which had a reply asking me to contact them quoting a ref number I did this days ago and haven’t had any reply reading all the very recent reviews seems these have gone dreadful across the board not just delivery if I could I’d give -5 stars

Balance taken from gift card
Tried to order online with Curry’s gift cards, the website crashed and the balance was wiped from the gift cards. Contacted Curry’s who promised the balance would be refunded within 48 hours-unsurprisingly this did not happen and Curry’s are not interested in resolving the issue.

I would give them a minus figure but you’re not allowed too! Friends of mine - elderly - brought a 50inch tv in oct 24. On 21 Nov 24 they took it back as it had a fault. Now 2nd Jan 25 still don’t have it back. Despite being promised either their money back or a replacement - by the call centre neither have materialized. They went back to the store to be told “we can keep it as long as we like”. Then we were told that the tv was back with LG and they gave me the phone number, on speaking to LG we were told, we don’t take tvs back so someone is lying to you! Well done to Curry’s for treating old age pensioners in this manner, I don’t expect anyone who works for them could lie straight in bed! Never buy from them again.

Then had the audacity to say they had a different colour available but it was a hundred quid more. That prompted an instant cancellation so we got the same laptop from John Lewis 20 pounds cheaper. Never again !!!

Wrexham currys store 2 of there employees are bully's! On my own with 2 kids asking for advise about how to return a tv and he started raising his voice shouting at me his name was rich and the manager simon watched it all happen and then started saying how rich was a really nice guy. Yeah sounds it. Might of had a bad day or whatever. But as a manager try and resolve it now make things worst telling me to leave when I didn't Evan do anything wrong. Took forever to ring someone to complain also emailed. I know nothing will probably be done about it. But really hope they improve there management and customer service skills! If I had spoke to someone in my work like he did my manager would be straight over to resolve things. Bunch of bully's looks like they seen i was on my own with 2 kids and took advantage to not try and help me and belittle me. Thanks currys avoid avoid avoid. Especially wrexham branch!

Online voucher balance taken
Tried to make a purchase online for a fridge using a voucher. They took the £450 balance of the voucher but the purchase failed to go through. I have been trying to get the balance reinstated but no luck. Effectively have had £450 stolen by Curry’s with no way of getting it back. Spoken to their customer service number multiple times and they seem to be clueless.

Ordered a vinyl player online, however due to poor quality and potentially faulty, we tried to return to store as stated we could do online, however was told it cannot be returned to store unless unopened?? Sorry but how ridiculous.
Please do not order from curry’s if you may need to return!!!

Just awful
Ordered a microwave just before Christmas and was told it would arrive within 3-5 working days. I was sent the confirmation email and receipt upon purchase as expected. Day 6 came around I still hadn’t received any emails to say it had been dispatched so I got in contact with them on their web chat and was told that it is out of stock and to wait 24/48 hours before I contact again. My money had been taken out but the item was out of stock? When I ordered it was in stock. Curry’s how can you get this so wrong. Absolutely awful and won’t be buying from there again.

My mother's Microwave was ordered 2 weeks ago and has been lost in transit. Didn't even make it to the courier. So far 4 phone calls to customer service. And more broken promises for investigation and call backs. They refuse to refund until a 14 day investigation is completed and can't tell me when the thing will be delivered. Verging on Criminal.

Appalling customer service
I purchased a garden heater 27/11/24. It was due for delivery the following week. On the day of expected delivery, an email was sent, stating they could not locate the item at the warehouse. Another one was requested, and delivered at 7.30am, the following week. However, only one of 2 parcels were delivered. Back to customer support , and eventually, no further item available. Arranged pick up on Friday, that the item, a very bulky item, would be arranged for Monday, 23rd, with a slot for pick up. Needless to say, no arrangement has been put in place.
Called Currys customer service this morning. What an absolute joke. She will escalate this to back office, which could take 24 to 48 hours ?????
Christmas eve tomorrow. Big box in hallway and nowhere else to put it.
Asked to speak to a manager, and wait for it, 3rd January next available appointment. What an absolute joke. Curry's have had my money for a month now, won't refund untill item picked up, and no sign of it being picked up.
What a joke of a company. Should have read the reviews.

Currys: The Pinnacle of Retail Incompetence
If there’s a competition for the worst electronics retailer in the UK, Currys would take the crown without contest. After years of avoiding them due to previous poor experiences, I foolishly decided to give them another chance—and I regret every moment of it.
Here’s how the debacle unfolded:
I went to the Swindon branch of Currys to purchase a TV for my home office. While in-store, I noticed they had five of the same model in stock. After buying one, I decided to order a second TV via click-and-collect once I got home. I received an email confirming the order was being prepared and would be ready shortly. No follow-up emails arrived.
Later that day, while at the retail park, I stopped by the store to check on my order. What followed was a masterclass in incompetence.
The click-and-collect desk staff helpfully initially confirmed that the TVs were in stock after i showed them where the stock was! However, their system bizarrely showed only one unit available, automatically changing my order to delivery. I explained that I specifically chose click-and-collect to avoid delivery, but their staff seemed more interested in passing blame than solving the issue.
When I asked for a manager, someone eventually arrived—badge-less and visibly disinterested. She claimed I had placed my order before the stock was shelved, a blatant lie as I had already purchased one TV earlier in the day prior to ordering via click and collect. When I pointed this out, she stumbled over her response, caught in her fabrication.
Her solution? Refund me (which would take 5-7 days) and have me buy another TV on the spot. This “solution” was absurd. First, I would be out of pocket for two TVs during the Christmas period. Second, they wanted me to repurchase a TV that I had already paid for but couldn’t take home because their system falsely claimed it didn’t exist.
Frustrated, I called Currys’ online customer service. If the store staff were bad, the online team was worse. The representative talked over me repeatedly and offered no resolution. At this point, I cancelled the order out of sheer frustration.
Determined to cut ties with Currys altogether, I decided to return the unopened TV I had bought earlier for a refund. I arrived just at closing time, only to be greeted by the same rude and dismissive behaviour. A staff member barked, “Oi, you can’t come in, we’re closed,” instead of offering a polite explanation. Another employee mocked me with a fake laugh and sarcastically declared, “No chance are we doing you a refund.”
As I left, fuming i stated that Currys was without question the worst retailer in history, one staff member shouted, “I don’t care, I’m doing alright,” while another sarcastically wished me a “Merry Christmas.” This level of unprofessionalism and outright hostility is staggering.
Currys has proven time and time again that they are incapable of providing even basic customer service. From blatant lies and systemic incompetence to smug, condescending staff, they have perfected the art of alienating customers.
Needless to say, I will never shop at Currys again. I’ve recently purchased a property on the North Somerset coast, and, not a single Currys product will cross its threshold. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favour and avoid Currys at all costs.

Took a day off work for delivery
Took a day off work for delivery, fridge didn't arrive, customer service it had been delivered and order completed. Won't give me my money back until they have investigated. Appaling don't touch with a barge pole. Will never shop with currys again Will tell all family and friends to also not both.

Dissatisfied customer
Purchased a dyson hoover, took delivery on 19 December 2024, battery not charging, advised Currys of problem 20 December.
Arranged courier collection for 23 December, replacement would not be sent out until they had received product.
Not happy on the replacement timescale. It could be up to 2 weeks before I receive replacement.
Surely this could have been turned around within 3 days - they could have organised next day collection with a next day delivery back to CURRYS with a next day delivery to customer.

Visited Guildford store to look at and buy an expensive carpet cleaner. Happy with item but could not find anyone to help with purchase. After spending time trying to find a way to buy we gave up and went to buy item in Argos.

A friend of mine asked me to buy two small electrical items from Currys in Northwich, which I did. There were two assistants on the main desk dealing with clients, but it took a while, presumably they were explaining the technical details of the products they were interested in, which i accepted. There were no other assistance around for quite awhile until eventually I was served. I paid and left the store, somewhat disgruntled. On the side of the store there’s a B&M which sells appliances. Because of the lack of service at Currys, I decided to take the items back albeit the time it took for the processing of the refund, and I bought the items from B&M. I need to replace my Laptop, but I definitely will not be going to Currys.

Terrible service. Terrible customer experience. Ordered product online for collection at High Wycombe store. Received email notifying product is ready for collection. Drive to store to be told product is not available. No apology. Offered a refund. Pull yourselves together Currys - this is totally unacceptable.
