Pediatric dental care

Pediatric dentistry takes care of children’s dental care.

We take care of your child with empathy in order to provide them with care in the best possible conditions, so that each visit remains as pleasant as possible.

The pediatric dentist is concerned with the prevention, treatment of cavities, as well as the early detection of possible orthodontic treatments that will avoid future functional problems related to swallowing or breathing.

From the first contact, he strives to establish a relationship of trust with the child and to give him a positive, non-traumatic experience, so that it can continue serenely throughout his life. The first X-rays, in the absence of problems or falls, are generally only carried out at the age of 5-6 years in order to detect any presence of cavities invisible to visual examination.

Preventive care

Since children do not have the dexterity of an adult, they often clean their teeth less well. It is therefore necessary to regularly re-explain brushing techniques to them and check that they have been properly acquired.

Dental fissure sealing

Children’s permanent teeth often have fine, sometimes very deep, pits and grooves in which food can get stuck despite careful brushing. This predisposes them to the formation of cavities. In addition to the hygiene session that must be done every year, the placement of a fluid composite resin (sealant) on the top of the teeth helps protect them against cavities.
