Team Europe Initiative on Digital Health for Health Systems Strengthening and Universal Health Coverage (UHC) 

The Transformational Potential: to accelerate health systems strengthening and the achievement of universal health coverage through digital health initiatives.

The Team Europe Proposal:

SO1: Provision of a coordinated and complementary approach supporting digital health solutions to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.

Pillar 1: Digital for COVID – 19, digital tools, skills, and transformation in support to the COVID-19 response.

SO2: Strengthen health systems through i) sustainability of impact and upscaling of COVID-19 actions ii) identification and operationalization of a set of EU tools, ii) coordination of ongoing and future programmes and roadmaps on digital health to overcome bottlenecks across health system.

Pillar 2: Digital for Health systems Strengthening (HSS) and UHC.

SO3: Develop a joint EU position and broad strategy on digital health, aligned with regional need.

Pillar 3: EU representation in Digital.

TEI on digital health offers to streamline digital health pillars through a joint dedicated programme.
