I had the battery replaced on an iPad Pro (9.7 inch) at the Surrey store. Everything was perfectly functional on it when I took it in for service. When I picked it up the fingerprint ID no longer functioned and I needed to use the passcode to open it. They attempted to resolve the issue but were unsuccessful. They told me that Apple must have locked out the feature and charged me 50% of the $150.00 battery replacement charge. Seriously, it is highly unlikely that Apple locked out the feature and far more likely that the service person damaged the cable leading to the physical button on the iPad. To Cell Clinic who replied to my review on google—firstly, we did not “come to an agreement” it was the only way that the tech would give me my iPad back since he refused to continue to address the issue. A 95 % working iPad is better than no iPad at all. The service person specifically told me that Apple locked the fingerprint ID function of my iPad because he had put in a non-Apple battery. A quick internet search shows that losing part of the home button function is an occasional problem that people experience if they attempt to replace the battery themselves— they damage the cable to the home button. I was only able to find one other instance where the same problem occurred after a battery was replaced in a shop and the shop fixed the problem by replacing the home button. There are zero reports of Apple “locking out” the fingerprint function. If you go onto the iFixit website, you will find a tutorial on how to replace the home button and connect it to the motherboard using the zif connector. You will also see from user comments on the iFixit website that quite a few of them had to replace the home button after they damaged the cable whilst replacing the battery in their iPad Pro (9.7 inch) So, anyhow, nice try attempting to put a pretty smile on what is a major error on the part of your tech. Fortunately he did not completely ruin my iPad. To Cell Clinic one more time: I just want to say that it’s interesting how you continue to justify the error that was made by your company. I understand that mistakes happen but I also expect that, when a company makes an error that affects me or my possessions, that the company take responsibility for their own mistakes. Cell Clinic does not appear to be doing so, instead, they appear to be trying to find ways to excuse the error that they made.

Whoever Santiago is at your establishment wasted over 25 mins to basically said that they do not allow phone swaps at the store and I WOULD HAVE TO MAIL IT IN TO YOU WHEN I LIVE A MATTER OF 5 BLOCKS away from your Vancouver storefront. Here is a thought, why advertise you have a storefront everywhere online and BUY SPONSOR ADS if you wont "meet at your store" and lastly you must be on some serious glue if you think and subjecting a LOCAL to a week before the funds. I would stay clear from this business.

I was assisted by iTechByPass recently with my 2 Iphone SE phones. He was patient and very helpful in guiding me to fix my iphones. His service is very good and has helped me greatly instead of throwing these in the garbage. He is very trustworthy as well. He never force to pay. Only until the phones are fixed and I was very satisfied with it. I would recommend iTechByPass to anyone. If anyone needs technical help, he is the guy.

If I could give zero stars or negative stars, I most definitely would. I sold my iPhone to a company by the name of Twig group. Mobi Market is the parent company of that company. I have been running in circles since October 2023 trying to be paid for a phone I sold to them. The phone was lost via UPS and a claim was paid out to somebody, just not me. I’ve gotten limited information from UPS as I am not the owner of the shipper account which paid for the shipping label to send out the phone. There have been absolutely zero contact by Mobi Market by Twig group and other various companies I’m finding out that are subdivisions or DBAs of Mobi Market. I have attempted to contact anyone and everyone possible to simply just get an answer. I’ve received nothing. So three months later, almost 4, I have no iPhone any longer. I have no payment for selling that phone nor do I have claim money from UPS for losing this package. Most days, when I call my cell phone provider, states that the number I’m calling is temporarily unavailable. I cannot sign onto the account I created with Twig group as my account was deleted by the company, and no longer exists, nor can I even set up a new account with that company to attempt to resolve this issue. Their website is down repeatedly and consistently. I have several email addresses that I have contacted with not even so much as a response. Avoid this company and any of their subsidiaries at all costs.
