We are 6 months into trying to correct a bill from Enercare. We were incorrectly charged for a hot water heater buyout in July 2024. In November 2024 the amount was finally reversed but we continue to be charged late payment fees for THEIR mistake. The customer service is non-existent and you can’t talk to anyone in person with the authority to solve your billing issue. Steer clear of Enercare! 0 stars!!!

Honestly it was Chris that made the experience great, very personable, knowledgable, and understood that time was the commodity. He wasted none, price was excellent. Update; after posting this review they called me! They apologized and sent a more experienced plumber. They allowed us to use the money we paid towards the fix. We now have a working toilet! Benjamin was amazing. First post:After explaining our toilet situation and all the trouble shooting we'd already done; ( snaked the drain, adjusted water level and chain), the plumber sent insisted it was a clog that was causing our toilet not to fully flush. He used an auger to try to clear it and poured numerous buckets of water down (they went down with no issue). Stated there was no clog, charged us almost $300 and told us we should get a new toilet and quoted $1400. Our toilet is only 2yrs old!He could not explain what was different about the new toilet that would fix the issue. He did no other trouble shooting and left the toilet in worse working condition then before. I am fully unsatisfied and when I called to complain I was told a supervisor would call me back and no one has after 1 week and a couple times I tried to follow up. Do not use this company, they don't know what they are doing, will over charge you and provide terrible customer service!

Had T & C Plumbing assigned to replace my water heater through my home appliance warranty company. The two guys that replaced the water heater did a great job. They were quick, efficient, professional, did not damage the house, and cleaned up their mess. As for the staff in the offices, they were not so great. The supervisor for this job told me I needed $500.00 worth of parts as the current parts could not be used again according to California code and that I did not need a permit. First, the code is a city code, not a state code. I checked with the city permit dept. and a permit is required and only one of the seven parts mentioned had to be replaced. No one at T & C would deal with this discrepancy. A woman named Iris, and another named Nancy, each told me they would call me back to deal with the parts conflict and neither did. In dealing with a guy named Alex, I tried to get information to complete the permit and he ignored some of my questions, argued with me about completing the permit, and told me I was doing it wrong. These people were not helpful at all. I am disappointed in T & C and will never use them again for any home appliance issues. my issues: poor service from staff rip off on extra charges not knowing the city code requirements no one deals with customer concerns promised return calls but didn't happen often no one answers phone no returned calls from messages left on their answering machine.
