This is a truly lovely garden centre with extremely helpful staff. We visited to pick up some hanging baskets of which they had a really good choice with different prices to choose from. The shop itself sells everything you could possibly want for house and garden - it's amazing and so beautifully clean we noticed. The pathways are all smooth inside so just right for my buggy. So glad that dogs aren't allowed here - this is an upmarket Garden Centre and Shop which has delicate objects on display which could easily be kicked over or damaged. At Avanta you can quickly make the right choices with the help of their knowledgeable staff we found. Delivery is free for certain local purchasers as well. Thank you Avanta - Til next time then 👍

It’s a shame when you turn up only to find dogs are banned both inside and out 1�7. The only garden centre I know of which has such a blanket ban - a problem when you’ve travelled and there’s no information on their website  1�7. In addition  1�7 if you turn up on a Monday - don’t expect a coffee - cafe closed . Not the best of trips or most welcoming of places  1�7.

Normally a good place however we travel a long way regularly to get there. Today we made the 1hr journey just to be told children were not allowed. We were there just a week ago and children were allowed. This is just not good enough and we will not be visiting again!
