Ordered a samsung S21 with galaxy buds 2, they arrived fine and looked good. However, phone turns out to be from a foreign (non-eu) country, so the mobile data does not work. Customer service is terribly lacking, sending only pre-written, standard messages and taking forever to reply. Decided to send the phone back and will never buy from them again despite the products arriving and looking fine.

In September 2024 I bought a refurbished phone, where it turned out that the battery was bad when I started using it. To this day, Backmarket has not made sure that I get a new phone, first I have to return this phone and then I can wait 10 days until I get a new one. While the problem is on their side, they deliver a bad phone. Never, ever buy a product via Backmarket.

They sell foreign products & the customer service is bad

Ordered a samsung S21 with galaxy buds 2, they arrived fine and looked good. However, phone turns out to be from a foreign (non-eu) country, so the mobile data does not work. In September 2024 I bought a refurbished phone, where it turned out that the battery was bad when I started using it. To this day, Backmarket has not made sure that I get a new phone, first I have to return this phone and then I can wait 10 days until I get a new one. While the problem is on their side, they deliver a bad phone. Never, ever buy a product via Backmarket.

Money grabbers who consider us consumers as collateral damage

Unfortunarly another good company going to waste because they forget that whithout satisfied customers they are not going to make it.
They include substandard providers into their ring of refurbishers and do not care if the customer gets less then promised.Do not fall for the 'you get what´s in the box´.
I ordered a samsung galaxy tab active 3 which was standardly sold with an IP68 rated S-pen stylus.
The seller Arisphone did not sent a working S-pen,but a crummy Chineese fake stylus which did not function as the original S-pen.After my complaint Backmarket blames the seller and the seller indirectly tells me they always sent it like this.So basicly they are making a statement that they are selling an incomplete not functioning product.After several promossed to rectify the problem Backmarket is siding with the seller,now all of a sudden it seems fifficult to sent me my return posting information.
I have been loosing more than 2 weeks over this,and in the meantime the company still has my money.Unfortunately I can not recommend doing business with Backmarket.Think twice and beware.It all looks nice on the website,untill you encounter a problem,then Backmarket utterly failes in customer support.
Of course unfortunate things can happen; but unfortunately Backmarket does not know how to resolve the issues.

Terrible company

I got a totally broken and super dirty product, instead of sending a carrier to take it back, they asked me to drive to a place to return this product for 1 hour, the package was so big I also got a fine for sending it back.

Spent too many hours, terrible customer service, terrible product. Not recommending buying from them

Great but cheap packaging

I ordered a iPad and the pencil they recomended on the site. It came very fast! Perfect in tact and works great, look just like new. Only thing it came loose in the box with a bit of rapping paper, looked a bit cheap. But he survived and im loving the iPad and Pencil so far!

christmas present never came

I ordered a phone for my mother as a christmas present. At first everything seemed to go well. I paid extra to be sure that the phone wil come in time for christmas. I received an email saying it will arrive the next day. Today (08-01) I still haven't received anything. No phone, no email, no apologie. nothing. I am very dissapointed.

Phone box arrived with only a charging cable inside was meant to be an iphone 12!

Ordered an iphone 12 for my son cost me £245.00 plus their service fee of £4.99 plus £29.99 the box arrived this morning from DHL. Seal on the branded back market box not broken until we opened and guess what only a charger wire inside - sick joke ?? Its my sons 13th birthday tomorrow christmas day and he is in pieces.Emailed their online chat to get one response saying they have placed £10.00 in my account as a gesture of goodwill and will look into it!My sons birthday is ruined.UNREAL!

Basically as new as can be .. 7 star service!

From choice selections to delivery and ultimately the product itself, everything has been absolutely astonishingly smooth and correct. I can't thank Back Market enough for making this seem so easy and perfect.
It's been almost a month since I received the phone and all is working as expected, plus you absolutely couldn't tell the difference from a factory sent model: it is literally as new as can be.
Choose the most excellent option, (or second best), and you definitely will not be disappointed with your buy!

They are third party only so they can’t…

They are third party only so they can’t provide any standards also they only have a phone number from US and they are not allowed to refund. I made the silly mistake in trust my money and now I’m having a headache to recover my money. DO NOT BUY IT!
