I bought a dishwasher (BAUKNECHT BCIO 3T341 PLET) in May 2024 via MediaMarkt online shop.
The delivery and the installation went smoothly.
On Sept 15, I reached out to the service team as t
he DOOR LATCH did not return to its place after the cycle ended.
Having received no reply, I called the service hotline. A very nice and helpful agent helped me how to fix that, as it seems now, this looks like a known issue. The resolution proposed was to slam the door against the dishwasher causing the latch to go back to its place using blunt force.
Since then, this has happened a few more times.
Now, in early November, this happens at least once a week! We wash dishes every day at least once.
I suspect that this latch will break as soon as the guarantee expires.
I reached out a few more times via email, again without a reply.

We bought a washing machine that has worked without issues for 1.5 years. Last week we had an issue, we called the customer service and in 1 week a technician came and solved the problem.

The technician was great, no complaints about his service.
My only issue is that it's very difficult for a non-German client to get a technician - there was no way to report the problem and get a
n appointment online.
I had to explain the problem over the phone with my broken German, only to get super-fast-talking representative answers in German, which - needless to say - I didn't understand.

Can't you have service in English too? or at least some representatives who can speak English?
And how come there's no way, for someone who pays for your insurance, to get an appointment online? Are we not in 2024 already?

dishwasher door latch not returning after cycle ends

I bought a dishwasher (BAUKNECHT BCIO 3T341 PLET) in May 2024 via MediaMarkt online shop.

The technician was great. Impossible to get appointment online :(

The technician was great, no complaints about his service.
My only issue is that it's very difficult for a non-German client to get a technician - there was no way to report the problem and get an appointment online.
I had to explain the problem over the phone with my broken German, only to get super-fast-talking representative answers in German, which - needless to say - I didn't understand.

Can't you have service in English too? or at least some representatives who can speak English?
And how come there's no way, for someone who pays for your insurance, to get an appointment online? Are we not in 2024 already?

Wash-Dryer broken 3 times since February 2021

February 2021: We bought a brand new Bauknecht WATK Pure 96G4 DE WASCHTROCKNER from MediaMarkt in February 2021.

March 2021: One month after buying our new machine, a F12 error appeared and the machine required repairing, and it took 2 weeks to get a technician to our home to fix our new machine.

March 2022: One year after buying our new machine, a F01 error appeared and it took one week to schedule an appointment then 2 weeks to get a technician to our home to repair our machine.

Today, February 2024: This is the third time our brand new machine has broken with a F08 error.

We called the Service Hotline (050 6700 2111) and it will take 48 hours for a technician to contact us to schedule an appointment. The Service hotline could not provide the telephone number of the company, only the name of the company. Also, that we may have to pay for the technician but they are unaware of how much it will cost to fix the machine! This machine broke in the 1st month after purchase, then a second time after 1 year of purchase, and now a third time after 3 years of purchase! And we have to pay to fix poor quality of a machine!

This is unbelievable that a brand new machine from a company that has a great reputation like Bauknecht/Whirlpool has broken, not only in the 1st month after purchase, then a second time after 1 year of purchase, and now a third time after 3 years of purchase. The facts are disappointing, and we regret our purchase.

I purchased a washing machine/dryer combination from this company. I was told "it's excellent German company!" I used this machine only seven times. SEVEN times. I purchased it in August. It was broken by the end of September.

Bauknecht promised to send a technician to repair it.

Technician came within one week of my initial call.

When he came, he said "bad news, I need to order a part for your machine, and it must come from Italy."
He scheduled the next appointment for two weeks later.

I patiently waited, and the day of the appointment, he called me and said "I'm sorry, but we ordered the wrong part. You need to call to make another appointment."

I called their customer service, and they scheduled me for an appointment two weeks later.

Yesterday, the same man arrived at my home and he fixed the machine.

Last night I tried to use the machine, and it was broken again, and I called to "make another appointment."

I was told to wait another two weeks.

Honestly.

F*** this company. They make garbage.

I just blew 600 Euros, POOF!!! Gone. Now I need to wait for another appointment, or just go out and buy another machine from a different company.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. NOTHING THEY MAKE IS WORTH YOUR MONEY. THEY MAKE PURE TRASH. BUY NOTHING FROM THEM AND SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! Bauknecht repair or after service charges you more WORKING TIME than the technician actually spends at your home. For any repair, any distance travelled by the technician are charged at 100chf, no matter the distance and without counting any manual work. I had to complain and ask for the bill to be corrected as I was at home and had proof the technician charged for 40min more of manual work than he actually did!!!!!!!
A second time I asked for them to come, they charged 130chf but they never came and claimed that nobody answered the doorbell!!!! Ridiculous, only abusive charges to make the customer spend more. I will NEVER buy again anything BAUKNECHT, and I regret having furnished all my house with all electronics from them. When you call to complain, nobody takes you serious

Bauknecht fridges are extremely unreliable

I had a high-end model refirgerator in top aesthetic conditions, never moved from the spot where it was installed when bought brand new. It has just died not being even 4 years old. The technical service says there is no way to repair.

I had to wait more than 3 weeks for the technician to come and try to fix it. For this customer service I had to pay 229 Euros and now, after they tell me I it cannot be repaired, they will only refund me not even 50% of what I paid to have it fixed.

My advise: stay way from Bauknecht and the rest of brands under the same coorporation (i.e Whirlpool)

Never again any device from this…

Never again any device from this company. Crappy devices, the service is terrible even device is in guarantee (only 4 months old). To have a repair you need to wait 3-4 weeks. Try to stay without cooking or washing clothes 3 weeks. Really disappointed.

will never buy again. so schlecht!!!!

Die Reparatur dauerte 7 Monate, was für eine brandneue Waschmaschine nicht akzeptabel ist.

Wir haben 20 EUR pro Woche für Laudromat bezahlt, also hat uns diese Reparatur insgesamt 600 EUR gekostet. Mehr als der Preis der Waschmaschine von 590 EUR. Für 1200 EUR hätte ich eine bessere Waschmaschine kaufen sollen

Der erste Mechaniker war nicht gut, der 2. und 3. waren sehr gut.

The repair took 7 months to resolve, this is unacceptable for a brand new washing machine.

We paid 20 EUR per week for Laudromat,, so this repair has cost us 600 EUR in total. More than the price of the washing machine of 590 EUR. For 1200 EUR I should have bought a better washing machine

the initial repairman was not good, 2nd and 3rd were very good.

The Dryer doesnt work from Day 1

The Dryer doesnt work from Day 1. It is such a horrible experience having to wait for 40+ days just to have the brand new device to work. I'll never go with Bauknecht again and never recommend it to a friend.

Misleading customers into spending the money

Based on your answer, you believe it is OK to mislead customers by offering them a free of charge appointment but then to charge for it post factum.
Had I known that I will receive a bill equal to 50% of the cost of the machine itself (and no repair was actually done), I would have never asked for your "service".
Your company has materially mislead me to take up a "free" appointment and is now causing me stress for over 9 months by sending bills and threats.
I did not expect such treatment from a company that considers itself reputable.

Thank you for the offer, I will get in touch but it is obvious that you see no problem with the above, so we may need an alternative method of solving the issue.

1- I contacted customer service to report about my broken washing machine in November.
2- I got an appointment after 6 weeks on 13.12.2021.
3- I have been told a spare part is available and the machine will be repaired in one week.
4- I waited until 24.02.2022 for a technician to come and replace the spare part.
5- After that, the water is not going inside the machine and reporting error code F05 after selecting a washing program and running it for around 15 mins.
However, it was working before and only leaking water while working due to the crack in the drum.
6- They closed the repair order and claimed the device is working fine!

From November 2021 till now, the machine is still broken and not fixed. How is the repair order closed and still the washing machine is broken?!

Very very bad experience and not recommending at all to buy anything from Bauknecht
